Michelin Primacy MXM4

Just replaced my original tires that came on my 2013 Dodge Charger R/T AWD. Got 55,240 miles before replacing because the wear bars were showing. Don't do many "burn outs" with AWD, but do enjoy hard acceleration from time to time. Very pleased with the wear and all all-around performance. Replaced them with a second set of Primacy MXM4. Feels like a new car again!

Handling and Comfort Supreme!

Put a set of these wonderful tires on my Lexus ES to replace the OEM's. These tires gave my car the quiet comfort that I wanted and suprisingly added a level of handling and driving confidence that exceeded my expectations. Wet traction is also superior! There are many brands to choose from but Michelin's will always be my first choice!

I'm sold on Michelin

I purchased a set of michelins 1988 right after our per owned car hydroplaned with my wife and two small children. I promised myself that I would never again skimp on tires. Since that time I have ran Michelin' exclusively on my two BMW's and my Acura.... I have never been disappointed. Chuck Diesel A completely satisfied Customer

Treadwear is lacking

2018 Tesla Model 3 OEM - tires wear out fast after approximately 25k miles. Thanks to Covid 19, have to drive much less miles now, but still, no where near 55k rated. I don't drive aggressively and like to maximize my miles/kWh. Realistically, I didn't expect to run these tires out to 50k, but after researching replacement tires it's a well known complaint. Perhaps Michelin should lower the treadwear (warranty) expectations to 20-25k on this tire.

Awesome 3 out of 4 Seasons

I drive primarily highway. I've been making the 86 mile round trip commute for nearly 14 years. I'm over 250,000 miles in that period on a variety of tires (mostly Michelins). I thought these tires were great in terms of comfort and handling from Spring through Fall. Unfortunately, I only got 43,000 miles on these tires instead of the 55,000 miles for which they are rated (the first time I've failed to go over the treadwear rating). I also found the winter traction to be below-average for the category. It is apparent to me that this tire is highly biased toward touring performance in the dry/wet at the expense of winter.

PERFECTO!!

This is the second set of this particular tires that I have owned. The first set were on my first, brand new 2007 Acura TSX and the performance these tires showed just couldn't be compared to any other brands. I refused to put any other tire on that car other than these. I just last month purchased a 2016 Acura RDX and it already came stock with this brand and model of tire on it and I was sooooo happy about that because I knew I had a good set of tires on this vehicle. My wife went on a road trip and she was happy about how quiet and smooth the ride was. Then I went on a road trip and I certainly didn't have to guess how well that went!!!

Quality Tires Last! Buy Michellin n Save

Occassionally due to auto manufacturers choices or recommendations I have used other brands of auto tires. They always seem to disappoint me. It is usually the ride, handling, miles-per-gallon, or total miles driven on the tires. I then switch the vehicle to Michellin tires and I say "thats what I've been missing!!"

Michelin primacy MXM4

I purchased 4 of these tires on Nov. 19, 2015. In August, 2016, I was told that 2 of the tires were wearing in the middle tread of the tire. I had to replace 2 tires. When I went back a month later to have them rotated and ready for winter driving, I was told the other 2 tires needed replacing, because the tread was so low. Only 28,000 miles of use. The price was adjusted, but replacing them, because the price has gone up since last year, was still much more than anticipated. Only 56% of the projected use, and all 4 tires had to be replaced. When these wear out, I will look elsewhere! I do NOT recommend this tire!

So disappointed....

Installed as OEM on a 2016 Kia Optima, and at 29,000 miles, being told they need replaced. Have had Michelin before and had good luck, not sure why these are preforming so poorly. Also seeing other Optima owners reporting similar results. Maybe they shipped a bad batch to Kia? Working with the dealer to replace under the pro-rated warranty, but even then I have to pay installation and balancing...that should be included.

poor tread life, good on everything else

Tires are above average in terms of comfort, ride quality, and traction in dry and wet conditions but suffer tremendously in tread life. Just a little over 28k miles, a bit over half the manufacture's claimed 55k life, and will be needing replacements. Still undecided if I will get these or something else
