The air fryer function and convection oven make this a multi-functional tool. The cook top works flawlessly not only is it easy to clean, but the ease of cooking is great. It makes working with multiple pots and pans at the same time simple.

Good things: oven large, cooks almost evenly (hotter in back), cook top quiet, works well Bad things: 1) Controls not backlit, almost impossible to read in normal lighting conditions 2) Controls highly multiplexed, consequently complex to operate, particularly when using all burners 3) Manual cryptic in many places, incomplete description of features and how they wire 4) Burners have only 10 power levels, insufficient for delicate tasks (chocolate, some sauces) - though the range of power levels is good 5) No way to keep clock display on

I thought I would miss cooking on a gas range, but my new induction range cooks/bakes so well that I will never go back to gas again. Induction cooking is much better than a glass cooktop as you have precise control over the heat. Our new heavy stainless pots heat evenly and quickly. We really like the matte finish glass top as it cleans easily and still looks new. Our older large fry pans don’t heat as much to the edges as the circles on the cooktop would lead you to believe. The griddle feature works well. The controls take some learning but are quick to use with some practice. The oven is big and heats evenly and precisely. Haven’t used the air fryer yet as we have a small one, too. The large capacity range fit well into our standard space with its compact design. We found the drawer under the oven to be larger than most in usable space which was great for cookie sheets and the air fryer parts. We replaced a range with a back vertical control panel so we added a backsplash which looks nice.

Having no knobs, takes a little trial and error, but once figured out, it makes the look and feel much better. I love having the large air fryer included in my oven so that I can now eliminate my countertop appliance. My favorite features is the option to use the convection bake mode, which provides even and faster baking/roasting....all sections of the large oven, bake the same with no hot spots. The cooktop heats up real fast and when lowering or stopping the cooking, it's immediate, helping to prevent burning and boil overs. I definitely recommend this range.

Of course a range needs to be more than just a pretty face and spoiler alert, this range delivers! I love to cook but lets face it cooking is a commitment! It takes time and effort to produce something everyone will enjoy. You may have heard the saying "you need the right tool for the job" and that's where this range comes in. Set up was a breeze with the SmartThings app. You download the app, add the range (easy) and once it's added the time is automatically updated on the range. The convenience doesn't stop there with this app. You can preheat your oven remotely, adjust the temperature and much more from the comfort of your couch (or anywhere else you are at). One feature I love is if you set the timer on the range you will receive an alert from the app when the timer has reached the end, you don't have to be within earshot of the range's super cute alerts to know when it's time. Speaking of time, you can bring a cold pot of water to a boil in 4 minutes and the oven preheats fast! Cooking just got a little quicker (and a whole lot more fun!). Time isn't everything though, the quality/consistency of the cooking experience is what delivers the wow in whatever you are cooking and once again this range steps up and knocks it out of the park. If you are new to induction cooking you first need induction ready pans (super important) but it is very much worth the investment. Not only does it bring the pan up to heat quickly (basically instantly) but it also allows you to very quickly and precisely make adjustments to the temperature, which helps to avoid burning. A typical glass cooktop takes a long time to heat up but more importantly it takes a long time to cool down.. Speaking of glass cooktops this one is scratch resistant and so easy to clean. No more baked on food (because it doesn't get hot, the pan does). Making cleanup a breeze! I have used the air fryer function and though I had to add a little more time than the recipe called for, the food came out perfectly crispy and evenly cooked. I now have a huge air fryer in my kitchen! Finally, though I've not yet used the convection function, I have used the oven and preheat was quick and food cooked within the time listed in the recipe. I am positive it'll work perfectly for baking. If you're in the market for a new range, buy it!
