Best price for a quality battery!

I have purchased these batteries for my Dodge 5.9 diesel as well as my Jeep Grand Cherokee. The batteries have all lasted 5 years or more, my friend has them in his Ford 7.3 diesel and he also gets 5 years of service out of these Duracell batteries. I have recently purchased a set of Marine batteries for my toy hauler we will see how they perform.

Worst batteries ever

I purchased 2 batteries to replace old 5 yrs plus Interstates. These Duracells lasted only 1.5 and 2 years. respectively. Fortunately, had a couple of 2017 Napa's that are still holding a charge to tide me over until I can get replacement Interstates.

DOA after a month

The specs on this battery, warranty, and price were all impressive but I was hesitant to purchase a Duracell battery... I've experienced issues in the past with Duracell batteries where they have leaked and ruined electronic equipment.. But this is a car battery so I decided to give it a chance. Now after only one month of ownership the new battery won't hold a charge over night. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER DURACELL BATTERY...

Good price but .....

Bought 35 months ago. Worked flawlessly for 2 winters but has failed to start on multiple below zero days in the past month. Unfortunately when tested at the nearest Sam's (1.5hrs) it was almost 60 degrees and it showed "good". Probably make it just past the warranty period.

Already Weak Within 18 Months!

Not a good battery and I have to have two in my Ford F250 Powerstroke! Batteries go down overnight and have to be recharged.... especially on cool/cold nights. Just had to charge them after a cool night (40 degrees F)! To prove my alternator is not to blame, I used my battery tester and went through a complete diagnostics. Alternator... charging perfectly and NOT A PROBLEM. Sams always uses that excuse to avoid any discussion about their not so good batteries! After a complete charge....both batteries read 12 volts (engine not running)! And, under a simulated load and with a 100 percent charge (engine not running)....both batteries read weak! These are 3 year replacement batteries but Sam's WILL NOT honor their replacement warranty because the batteries are not totally dead. So, if I want to use my truck, I have to charge the batteries first. Not a good thing! When these batteries finally go, I am SURE I WILL NOT replace them with Duracell and I doubt that I will go to Sam's for batteries any time soon!!

Still working strong after 6 years in AZ heat

I have one in my '08 Expedition dated Dec 2018 and it continues to provide strong starting power. This is unusual for Phoenix due to the extreme heat that causes plates to warp(shorted cells), and cells that dry out when electrolyte evaporates. Previous batteries had failed around 2 yrs.

Great battery from my experience

The battery on my 2011 Ford Explorer gave out today. Pulled it out and it was this same battery. The date sticker was 4/18! Well beyond the 3 year warranty. You can believe it that I just bought another one to replace it. It's a great battery at a great price.

Grupe 65 850 CCA

I bought a set of these batteries seven years ago. They fit my 2006 Dodge Ram 3500. I am a snow bird and in the summer when I go north I pull the batteries out of the truck and put them under my Dubble wide in a plastic ben . I be sure they are fully charged when I put them away. Keeping them cool and away from the heat in the summer time I feel that this helps them last longer then most are complaining about. I do recommend these if you take care of them.

Durable, trouble free for six years so far.

I have owned this battery for slightly over six years without the first problem. Sams installed it at their Virginia Beach, Virginia location and I've been driving around trouble free. I have maintained my electrical system, having my alternator rebuilt by Browning once there was miles on the car ahead of waiting for it to fail, checked and cleaned wiring connections along with routine terminal maintenance and checking with a meter occasionally. I think a lot of times people blame a new battery when it is lack of maintaining their electrical system and terminals/wiring connections. Based on my experiences with this battery I would buy it again.
