I bought this product a few months ago and it is a potential fire hazard. The machine washes well but the dryer does not stop drying even when the clothes are extremely dry. The dryer will run for over 14 hours and I have to stop it. My clothes have also shrunk. This is not okay. This is very disappointing.

This is my first experience with anything other than a traditional washer and dryer so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I am however, pleasantly surprised. The unit runs extremely well and seems well built. There have been several comments on the length of each cycle and you have to remember that this is a wash and dry time. You cannot compare the cycle lengths to that of a traditional washer and dryer. With that in mind, this unit does exactly what it is meant to do. One benefit of being a combo unit is that you can quite literally set it and forget it and not have to worry about moving your laundry into the dryer. A normal cycle start to finish is going to take you a little under 3 hours. You also have the option for a quick cycle which works great for lightly soiled clothes and will take you about an hour. Besides the operation of the unit, it looks great and the controls are well designed. While this unit might not be for everyone, if you know what to expect, I don't think that you will be disappointed.

I have had this unit for a few months now and it's performance surpassed my expectations. Previous iterations of the washer/dryer combo always fell short with absurd dry times and lint build up exasperating that issue. This model addresses that issue by having a removable lint filter. A few quick tips to ensure peak performance. First you want to make sure when you're doing laundry that your loads consist of similar materials. If you're mixing different styles of clothes and then selecting AI wash and dry, you will find that at times your clothes are not completely dry. Secondly you want to make sure you're doing proper maintenance on the unit. Leave the door open when you're done to keep the gasket fresh and clear lint/debris from tiny drain hole in the middle of the gasket. As stated above there is a lint filter on top of the unit, there's also a drain filter on the bottom. Clean the lint filter before every load and clean the drain filter every 3 weeks to a month. Finally to really get the most from this unit you want to be connected to LG's Thinq app. Not only does it allow you to download different cycles such as the Nighttime mode; where the cycle completes and will occasionally tumble so your clothes don't get wrinkled, but whenever there is a new software update, you will be able to update that as well. LG is definitely showing innovation with this one!!

We are busy family with 3 kids and we do tons of laundry a week. However, this product is so easy to use, even my 10 yo is able to do his own laundry now! Admittedly, it takes a bit of getting used to figure out the best cases for different cycles, volume of wash and materials but overall, very happy with the product. I bought our 2 in 1 washer dryer combo a few weeks ago. I do like having the all in one combo, but I feel dry times are much longer no matter what I do. I stay on top of maintaining the machine and making sure to not overload it, but I have myself having to run a dry cycle twice. I have a household of 6 and it can take some time to get everyone cycled through when needed. But I do like the machine overall it does well and it quiet and easy to clean and maintain. I would recommend this to maybe a smaller family for sure.

We got the washer/dryer in January. I learned to wash "like" items in a load so it dried accordingly (towels togther,sheets together, clothes together, etc.) Drying items takes longer HOWEVER it is only a 110 not a regular dryer. Plan accordingly. Unfortunately we are now selling our house. We had two agents in to look at the home before we list for sale. Both of them said it was "genius" to put this on the main floor to make one level living. They had heard about them but never saw them.

I was #gifted this product as part of a promotion on social media but the thoughts expressed here are based on my own personal experience with the WashCombo over the last month since I installed it! This unit was the right fit for the super small laundry space that we have on the first floor. It works perfectly there allowing for the rest of the space to be used as storage. It also does not require you to hook it up through a vent, as the water from the drying process is pumped out of the drain line (genius!). The first few loads came out smelling a little like rubber from the gaskets but that resolved quickly. I have run loads of different sizes (about one per day) and the dry times have varied from 2 hours for smaller loads to 3 hours for medium size loads to 4 hours for towels. One of my favorite things is putting in the wash before bed and waking up to my laundry being finished! I know everyone wants instant gratification these days but even at a wash/dry cycle time of 3 hours I can get 4-5 loads of laundry done during waking hours, if necessary (plus one overnight).
