My granddaughter especially like the retractable cord. She had a low powered stick vacume before and is very happy with this Bissel for her apartment.

The cord is an issue. I slowly pulled on the cord and tried to stop and after the yellow tape. It now will not retract. This was the first time using it.

Used this vacuum for 5 minutes. At first the cord was slowly going back in, then we couldn't get it to wind back up. Returned the next day. So disappointing!

This vacuum picks up pet hair so well. I like the turbo brush tool, very helpful. Overall this vacuum is wonderful. A couple things to keep in mind, it's very loud, it does not have a light and the cord is on the shorter side.

This is one of the best vacuum cleaners I ever purchased. Always bought shark vacuums but started having really bad luck with them. Took a chance on this Bissell and best decision EVER!!...very simple to assemble ( attach hose and wand. No screws just attach) could not believe how well it picked up all the dirt my shark never got. Even cat litter got picked up without scattering it out the sides. So very pleased! Love height adjustments and auto rewind of the cord. I'm a true believer in this vacuum at any price point.

I have bought MANY sharks over the years (I own my own cleaning business) they have all broke very quickly, and my newest one burned out and smells horrible and refused to actually get anything clean. I bought this vacuum today and it picked up pounds of dirt and pet hair off my floors! I was amazed! I am so happy I bought it! Hopefully it lasts longer than all those sharks did.

I love my Bissels! The rewind cord is a selling point for me because of my messy kids! I also love that this one lifts out of the canister to use the suction "wand". My only complaint is that when using bare floor mode on my kitchen floors, it is VERY noisy. I have just kept it on carpet mode to vacuum my kitchen.

Better than the last model. I had to replace two rollers on the last one but that was after tons of use. I like that the hose is attached better on this model and the wand also disconnects easily. The only complaint right off the bat is that the cord doesn’t retract all the way. I have to push the last 5-7 inches back in while pressing the lever.

I was really hoping to love this vacuum, especially for the price. It is lightweight compared to most vacuums I've used. It has good suction. Those are the good. The meh aspects are that it can be ridiculously hard to push. I adjusted the height of the floor head and it can help, but there are still times where it just is difficult to maneuver. I only have hardwood and area rugs. No issues with the hardwood, but even on higher settings, the carpet is still challenging to vacuum. I have a sensitive shoulder so I'm definitely more aware of maneuverability than others, but still. It's also got a retractable cord, which I was excited about at first. When using the vacuum, it sneakily gets sucked back in and I have to keep stopping to pull it back out. Also, when I use the wand, the bottom is still suctioning. With my Shark, the bottom stops suction when I'm using the wand extension. It doesn't seem like it'd be a big deal but I wanted to vacuum out my car and putting the vacuum on the driveway, I didn't want to vacuum the outside and needed to put a floor mat out to put the vacuum on. So I'll have to continue my search for another vacuum.

Pretty good vacuum. Pulls up dirt pretty good. Only negative things are the power cord could be a few feet longer and the accessory hose could be longer as well. If you get this just be prepared to plug & unplug to move it around clean. Other than that - I give it a 4 out of 5 stars.
