Isadora's refried beans are, in my opinion, the best pre-cooked beans you can buy from the grocery store. They are creamy, very flavorful, not too salty, and don't use lard. While they are quite popular in Mexico, I've only been able to find them at Walmart, Sam's (via shipping) and some larger Hispanic grocery stores in the U.S. I wish Sam's also carried their refried mayocoba beans as those ones are my favorite! Everybody in my family loves them too! These beans are a hit every taco night.

Excellent! Taste like homemade refried beans! I love that I can just heat and serve, the packaging is awesome as well. Space saving bags instead of cans.

I bought a box of these and immediately put them into my pantry. When I opened the box 2 of the pouches had exploded inside the unopened box. It smelled horrible like a dead body. After I threw out the bad ones and cleaned up the mess I put a pouch in the microwave for one minute as instructed, the pouch exploded in my microwave making a horrible mess with a horrible. Now I can't think of them without getting physically sick.

Pretty good beans. However, I don't like the bag they come in, it's very messy to get the beans out. I tried two different ways, squeezing the bag on the first one and using a spatula on the second one. Geeze, using the spatula was so messy. A can is so much easier to get the beans out of.

Definitely some of the best refried beans I have ever eaten.

Very bland for my taste. Had to add considerable seasoning to give them a little flavor. Not sure I will order again.
