[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark stain striker is a easy machine to use.You just put in the soap fill with water and add the oxy multiplier solution and start working the stain to remove. Scrub with the brush after you push the button for some solution and then it sucks up the dirt and stain is gone.Easy to clan out the dirty water. Used it in the truck seats worked great. The only thing is that as you spray stain remover it also sucks at the same time so you need to hold the scrub brush at an angle.

It is great for on the go cleaning. It fits perfectly in any car to clean the seats and carpet. I would recommend this for mobile car washers.

I don't do rating for products that don't meet my expectations. This product exceeds any expectation that I had. We recently adopted a new puppy and let me tell you this of all the stuff we have for cleaning up messes, this is the best. It is light and portable and easy to clean. We started using it without reading the instructions (Duh) and discovered that you should vacuum the mess first and then use the cleaning spray to complete the cleaning process. Overall, this is worth every penny we spent purchasing this. I understand that there is a newer version to this cleaner that might be an improvement to this, however. I don't know how you improve on perfection. I recommend this to everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how compact this machine is. It stores easily in the cupboard under the sink in the bathroom, so it's on hand upstairs where we have carpet. It's a powerful little machine, and has so far performed very well. It has an unusual two-tank system - one for the hot water and cleaning solution, and the other for the oxy stain treatment, and this seems to work really well. The machine has three really great features that make this stand out from other cleaners I've tried: First is the pet mess attachment. This has a built in filter and a container that quickly unscrews - when you're cleaning particularly obnoxious messes, this will gather the "chunks" locally at the head, rather than drawing the mess through the entire machine. This makes it much easier to clean up semi-solid messes. Secondly, the tool heads have the slots through which they draw the liquid. On other cleaners I've used, these are solid pieces, making it really difficult to clean properly after use. On the Shark machine, the front plate unclips, allowing you to easily clean inside. I love this feature! Finally, again on the subject of cleaning the machine itself, there's a plastic cap that fits over the end of the hose, and is used to redirect water straight back through the hose to flush it out. Simple but brilliant. Overall, I can definitely recommend this cleaner. If I had to find fault with it, the hose is supposed to wrap around the base of the machine, clipping the tool handle to the side. Mine barely reaches to clip into place, maybe because it's still relatively new. A minor point, because as I mentioned, it's compact and stores easily in a cupboard.

It’s not as loud as I thought it would be, which is a relief and considering I’m using this on a dry stain and is still able to suck out all of that dirt I am very happy looking forward to seeing how durable this will be in our household.

Got this Shark Stain Striker and it removed the spot in matter of minutes. Can't even see where it was. Very easy to put together, use, and clean. Highly recommend.

The Shark StainStriker is now on that list of "must-haves." The unit is on the smaller side and easily moved throughout the house. Besides carpets, it can easily do upholstery and vehicle interiors. The fact that it can do stairs is a bonus! Seeing the dark water get sucked up is very satisfying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned small stain remover machines in the past and it has always been difficult to get all the hair out of the attachment on the hose. The StainStriker actually allows you to remove the clear plastic portion on the hand tool attachment so you can clear all the hair and gunk. Another unique feature of the hand tool is the reversible brush. One side has rubber bristles, while the other has traditional nylon bristles. The hose starts off with a thin built-in head that is designed for crevices. You can add the 3.5” standard attachment, which has the reversible brush. It also comes with a wider “pet mess tool” attachment that has a little compartment underneath. That compartment is designed to catch larger chunks from your carpet (think pet waste or vomit) so that it doesn’t go into the main dirty water receptacle. I thought that was a pretty smart design choice. The cord wraps directly onto the side of the machine and the hose goes around the base, connecting the wand securely. I like the compact design.This unit not only has a clean water tank where you add the cleaning solution, but also a separate mini tank that holds an oxy boosting solution. I found the cleaner was easy to set up and use. I tried to clean some old stains and they look better but are not completely gone. Now that I have this machine, I look forward to attacking fresh stains before they set.

Ok, so we’ve had this for just over a week and have put it to use on several occasions. Having 2 cats that produce furballs at the drop of a hat, this little machine has made cleanup much easier, faster and efficient! Well worth the money as it does a fantastic job of making their spots disappear!
