I am writing this review on Thanksgiving night after experiencing a remarkable situation. I bought wall-to-wall Karastan carpeting a month ago and also ordered the small Shark StainStriker as a precaution. Today, an hour before guests were due to arrive, my cat Jazzy had an accident and made a mess on the carpet in the dining room. In a frantic rush, I opened the StainStriker and swiftly read the directions. Assembling it was straightforward, and to my amazement, it swiftly eliminated the large brown stain from my white rug. I am absolutely impressed with this little machine!

I used my new Shark portable carpet and upholstery cleaner to shampoo some dirty spots on my carpet. And I was so impressed! I will use it a lot to clean up spots on the carpet. I don't have pets, so the separate tool for cleaning pet messes won't be used. But I can see how it would be useful. Very thoughtful little addition. The machine is designed well and I'm glad I got it.

Works well for spots and small areas of carpet

So simple and easy to use and better than that, it works amzingingly well!

Bought this on March 26 and the hose broke on May 10. Seems to be either poor quality hose or terrible design for mounting the hose to the unit causing to much strain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It actually works better than I thought it would. It did get some stains out of my carpet and it was pretty easy to use. I love that you can use it on upholstery too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OMG i cant believe i got this. i am in so love with it. now i can wash my carpet myself. the performance is fabolus. its versatile and durable. the good thing is ots portable.

I used the stainstriker soon after it was delivered. Very easy set up and use. Old stain on my sofa is gone and sofa and two chairs look great. They smell wonderful too!

This works very well. I used it for cleaning my truck and it works great! The suction is pretty good. I am happy with this purchase, I was sure about it but I think it works well.

Amazingly powerful and easy to clean. Looking forward to cleaning in the moment instead of putting it off, because I dreaded dragging out my old machine.
