[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to try more on different things but did first on towels, First off it is very hard to see the marking for ammount to add to machine. Second I thought the scent was very weak, I really didn't smell much, some might like that. Softness again I heard static when I removed wash, I was surprised about that. The rest of the claim really need more time. I just really didn't see a big difference from other Downy softeners. I think everyone should try this themselves because everyone washer , water are different so you could prefer.

Ultra Downy Liquid fabric softener is the only fabric softener I use. I've tried to save a few pennies by buying cheaper competitor products but they're never the same quality. Ultra Downy April Fresh has a light clean scent that leaves even my heavy cottons soft. I also use it on my delicates and it leaves them in soft perfect condition. My only complaint is that it's more expensive than most fabric softners but I always try to buy when I have a coupon or its on sale. I received Downy Ultra Fabric Softner as a free gift for my review but I assure you that my opinions are entirely mine and I try my best to be as honest as I can be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My laundry smelled really good while the washer was running, but I am not sure I am totally sold on the product. I wanted to try this product because at this time of year my clothes smell like sweat and deodorant by the end of the day and sometimes that smell is nearly impossible to totally remove so I was hoping this product could cover the smell. I was a little concerned that "April Fresh" would have some kind of pollen or something in it that would cause allergic reactions, but it seems the smell is created by more of a synthetic process. It smells incredible while the washer is running. The reason I am not sold on this product, however, is that my clothes came out of the wash feeling more worn out. I'm not sure if it is just the feel this product gives the clothes or if it really is hard on the clothing, but that makes me nervous. I'd rather keep using fabric deodorizer to fight the smells than have to buy new clothes more often. As time goes on I suppose I will find out whether this is really deteriorating the fabrics or if this is normal. I also noticed that the smell while the washer is running doesn't seem to really stick around very long once the clothes are removed from the wash, so I am not sure this will even perform that well. Overall, I do think this product was worth a try, but I am not sure whether it is something I will purchase again unless my concerns are assuaged by the time this bottle runs out. If you are washing kids clothes and would love a floral-y fresh smelling house on laundry day I think this is a wonderful product because the kids'll grow out of their clothes before they have a chance to wear them out anyway, but if you are washing adult clothes, I'd proceed with caution...but do keep it away from the kids. If it spills it is very sticky but until it dries, cleans up like spilled oil - you want to avoid spills if you can.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Ultra Downy April fresh smells wonderful. I haven't used liquid fabric conditioner in quite some time. I put about a half cap full and poured it into my dispenser in my washing machine. I have a top loader machine. This batch of laundry was towels, so I thought I would try it on them. When I took the towels out, they felt nice and soft, with just a hint of scent. If you haven't tried it in a while, then, please do!

The product works super! I haven't used a fabric softener in a long time (i have only ever used Downy) and this truly worked beyond my wildest dreams. The smell is heavenly and the softness of the clothes were great!! I would certainly purchase this product!!! I will recommend and tell family and friends about this product.

Having a little boy in baseball I need something strong to help with smell and Downy surpassed my expectations. Very good quality and works well with my detergent. I recommend trying you may join the Downy team like me :)

Downy is the BEST Fabric Softner Hands down. I have tried other several "name brand" products but they just don't compare. My favorite use is on my towels.. Other brands made the "crispy" but downy Always Fluffs them Right up. The smell is fantastic and Not overbearing. I highly reccomend this product. Even for Large Loads I only have to fill the cap to the 1 Line and they are Super Soft.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product. I really enjoy using this fabric softner for bed linens and towles. Leaves linens feeling softer, fluffier, and it really smells great. It is also great for clothing as it reduces static cling. Highly reccomended.

I've been using Downy Ultra for years and I was in love with the scent, it was very fresh and distinct from other brands. However when I bought some this week they had a new fabric protection feature which I thought was great. When I got home to use it, I was extremely disappointed by the new smell it had. Yes, it leaves our clothes really soft but with an awful smell. The new scent is similar to another brand which is called Suavitel or something similar. The smell is somehow acrid and very unpleasant. I really hope they were only the ones I bought this time.
