Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding Downy Fabric Softener. I understand your concerns about the product not meeting your expectations, and I appreciate the opportunity to clarify its intended use. It's important to note that Downy Fabric Softener is designed to enhance the softness and freshness of your fabrics, rather than to act as a laundry detergent. Here are some key differences between fabric softeners and laundry detergents: - Function: Fabric softeners, like Downy, are formulated to soften fabrics, reduce static cling, and impart a pleasant scent. They do not contain the cleaning agents necessary to remove dirt and stains from clothing. - Usage: Downy should be used in conjunction with a laundry detergent, which is responsible for cleaning and removing dirt and residues from your clothes for example Tide. If you are looking for a product that effectively cleans your laundry, I recommend using a suitable laundry detergent alongside Downy Fabric Softener for the best results.
