[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that Downy fabric softner is amazing! It's something that I hadn't used in a long while and was thrilled with the outcome! It left my clothes smelling nice and they were soft to the touch! A new staple in my laundry routine!

I never really used fabric softener before until I received my sample in my Vox Box. And now I am so glad I tried it. I didn't realize how soft my clothes were not! I use it in every load now. Not only does it make my clothes smell good but they feel so soft and comfortable!

Ultra Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Conditioner My all time favorite fabric softener! I don’t think I could love a fabric softener anymore than I do this one! It reminds me of childhood memories. I love for my family’s clothes to smell fresh and not just right after they get out of the washer. This lasts and has the most pleasant scent.

A few years ago, Downy changed their beloved original April Fresh scent into some sickly, perfumy mess and I was devastated. However, they only changed the liquid, the dryer sheets still smelled like the original formula. I just got back from Dollar General and they now changed the scent of the dryer sheets too. WHY ON EARTH would they do this??? The original scent of April Fresh was loved by so many. Why wouldn't they just make a "new scent" and leave the beloved original scent available for purchase. Did a bunch of men in suits, who probably never did laundry themselves, make this decision?

I love the smell, it takes me back when my grandmother would was clothes and hang them out to dry and when the wind blew you can smell the downy all over the house and the neighborhood, nothing like a beautiful scent and good memories.

It's been a long time since I have used a liquid fabric softener. I was really excited to try this one free for review. Honestly, the smell was a little overwhelming from the bottle, but on freshly washed and dried towels: heavenly. My husband was so excited to see Downy in our laundry room. It's nice to smell something so spring-like when you're in the midst of winter. Our towels are wonderfully soft too.

However, I felt the fragrance was overpowering and lingered longer than what I expected. I would recommend Downy, but hope they lessen the amount of fragrance.

Previously, I did not use any fabric softener regularly because I just wasn’t so crazy about any of them. I have to say I have used this April Fresh softener in every load this week and I am loving it! Many of my work shirts have to hang dry, normally leaving them stiff and unscented. No longer! So happy to have fresh, soft shirts and bras!
