Downy April Fresh makes our clothes so soft to the touch and the sweet scent of springtime that we enjoy all year round. This is my softener of choice. It's so nice to curl up on a cold winter night with that fresh spring scent keeping you warm. Yes I would recommend it to my friends and family

I never used the original Downy April Fresh fabric softener so I can't compare the newer version with that one. I like a lot of scent on my clothes and the newer version makes our laundry smell sooo good! My current laundry combo is Tide Original, Downy April Fresh and Bounce Outdoor Fresh dryer sheets. This laundry combo makes our laundry smell fresh and clean, soft and static free. If the newer version is too strong for you, I suggest cutting it 50/50 with an unscented fabric softener (it could even be a store brand version) or using less fabric softener per load. If you still don't like the newer version, you could try Snuggle Blue Sparkle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer is delightful. It is very easy to add to your HE washer. Just add to your detergent and your done. Your clothes come out very soft and smelling wonderfully fresh, like a Spring Day. Best of all, they hold that fresh smell days to weeks after the wash. When you put your clothes on in the morning, it will bring a smile to your face.

I have been using Downy for quite awhile now, I have veered off and tried other brands but always seem to come back to Downy. I find this product to be affordable especially with coupons and does exactly what you want a fabric softener to do! I started using the Downy Ultra when my sweaters and tee shirts were getting stretched out of shape. I use this now on all my clothes and they are looking nice and smell really good. I do not have my tops looking all crooked and shrunken. My husband really likes his t-shirts rinsed with Downy Ultra. He asked me what i was doing to keep his t's from shrinking and i told him I was using Downy Ultra and he said keep using it so he doesn't have to keep buying shirts. They come out of the laundry looking just as good as when i bought them. i would not use any other brand for my clothes. great results.

Absolutely love, this product. I always make sure I have extra on hand just in case I happen to run out. I’ve tried doing laundry without it and I just can’t live without the smell! I have extremely sensitive skin and it does not seem to bother me at all!

Down fabric softener has been my go to for years. Delicate on fabric and a little goes a long way. I won’t wash bedding or towels without it, they just feel rough otherwise.
