This is the only fabric softener that I use. My mom has used it for years which is why I use it too! I love the smell and it definitely makes my clothes feel softer! Giving it 4 stars because some of my items have blue stains on them after using the softener. I think this is most likely user error, but it has happened more than once.

I use Downy because my mother used Downy and I only use the April fresh because it reminds me of when I was a kid and it reminds me of when I used to do my kids' laundry because that is what I did their laundry in absolutely love Downy as a fabric softener it works excellent it is a great for your fabrics no static clean and it leaves a nice good scent absolutely love it recommended highly and I will buy it again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy I decided to pick up a bottle of Downy Fabric conditioner this time I have used Downy in the past but it was really no different than any other brand but now I admit is much better my clothes come out of the dryer not only smelling wonderful but they look great the wrinkles are reduced there's no leftover lint on the sweaters and the way my clothes feel now is amazing stop that they feel like when first coming out of the dryer is still there a week later I love the new Downy conditioner.

This fabric softner I believe can kill any bad smell. I placed the bottle in a small closet and coulr literally smell it every time I opened the door. I love pulling my clothes out of the dryer and smelling this come out. While the softness is not to much of a difference then when I don't use it the fact that the fresh smell last on my clothes for days and even weeks after , is the reason that I keep coming back to this brand. With Downy April Fresh her uniforms smell like a fresh spring day! Downy April Fresh also leaves my clothes soft and static free. I am so sick and tired of multi million dollar businesses nickel and diming everyday americans so they can line their pockets more. This particular bottle is 150 oz. The previous softener was 170 oz. May not seem like alot, but that is at least 10 loads of laundry that i WILL NOT have fabric softener for. I am so done with this. Downey is officially on my DO NOT BUY list. I already have to skimp and save, fabric softener is a LUXERY, and it is one i will not be buying again. Fool me once shame on you! Thankfully, i only bought it once. I had not bought downey for over a year, bought it this one time because it was on discount. NEVER AGAIN!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the smell of Downy fabric softener. I also live in the desert so static cling is kept at bay when I use Downy. One of my biggest pet peeves with a fabric softener is that it can leave stains (like oil stains?) on thin fabric. I've never had that happen with Downy. Plus the fact that the smell lasts so long is a bonus!

It's been a long time since I have used a liquid fabric softener. I was really excited to try this one free for review. Honestly, the smell was a little overwhelming from the bottle, but on freshly washed and dried towels: heavenly. My husband was so excited to see Downy in our laundry room. It's nice to smell something so spring-like when you're in the midst of winter. Our towels are wonderfully soft too.
