I purchased this with other Samsung appliances with our new home 6 months ago. They dishwasher works very well and is quiet. I am still getting used to having the controls on top of the door, which I hit from time to time, but still think the unit is great. We use is almost every night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a new home and received this product with no other options. When we did our inspection, the dishwasher was still sealed up and brand new. After moving in, we noticed it was already malfunctioning. First it wasn't getting enough water supply. Then we went to a neighbors' house and noticed our door and latch didn't function properly. We had to have a tech come out to fix the door so that it would slowly open instead of swinging down and the latch which was metal on metal (it made a loud clicking sound that it was not supposed to). Additionally, the top rack for silverware/ lids etc. is too high for it to fit many common items unless you use the middle space which is limited. It also is somehow too low that it makes it near impossible to put wine glasses on the top normal rack. If you don't like this feature, it also isn't removable. Would look elsewhere or a different model.

The door opens automatically after the cycle completes, which helps dry but also notifies everyone that the dishes are clean arend ready to be put away!

I like to wash the dishes when I go to bed, but the kitchen is near the master bedroom. I could hear the old unit, and it bothered me. his one is very quiet. I love the third shelf, it makes cleaning small items easy. The smart things app works well, and allows one to turn on and off. I also like the different cycles, as sometimes I just need a quick rinse rather than a deep wash, but when you need a deep clean Storm Wash is cool. A silly part I really like is that the door pops open when the cycle is done. It is a nice visual cue.

Definitely helps to dry dishes better. Also love the two upper racks! We adjusted the 2nd rack a bit lower and we can fit out glasses easily. Very top rack is great for our spatula, etc. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that sometimes a few dishes don't clean well, then I have to rewash them and clean out the bottom filter. Also plastic cups and Tupperware don't dry that well, but everything else does. Overall compared to other dishwashers I've had, I am really happy with it and love it!
