So I had 4 steaks the appropriate size. Half a box of linguine. A cup of frozen peas. The recommended 3 cups of chicken broth. Turned it on Speedi Meals at 400 for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes the steaks were way overcooked and inedible. The peas were army green and mushy. And the pasta was undercooked. I had to fiddle around to finish cooking the pasta. We couldn't manage but a couple bites of overcooked steak. Noodles were very firm and some were stuck to each other. So not great as a first experience. I will say that I had 5 small steaks left. I air fried them at 400 for 7 minutes and they were very good. Just know that there will be a learning curve with this appliance. I recommend looking at some of the meal videos on YouTube and finding a recipe you want to try and following the instructions with regard to portions, temps and times to the letter.

While I have really enjoyed this machine when things go right I have had so many issues with the fan being so strong that it airlifts the food, which then gets stuck to the burner and burns. Cheese slices and frozen flatbread have both gotten stuck to the burner (consistency) and small items like English muffins are usually flipped over. I was torn between giving this a 3 or 4 star review.

I just received this last week. I made a great dinner with rice at the bottom and a steak on top. It came out great. Last night made the chicken parm from the book. It said to put the cheese on the last five minutes. Unfortunately, it got stuck on the heating element and it doesn't come off. GRRR. Another person from the group I joined said the same thing happened to her and it comes off in time. I really love how quickly you can make dinner. I had the 5 in 1 and I will be giving that one away.

I have only had my Ninja Speedi Cooker but have tried several recipes and they all turned out amazing. I love it and have recommended it to several family and friends. It is great for me and hubby and so easy to clean. I can't wait to try more recipes. Still learning all the different things it can do. Love it!!!

There is a learning curve with this multi-cooker. Start out simple rather than complex, learn limited basic recipes. Temperature and time settings can be crucial, so be prepared to adapt for different food types & recipe directions & settings. Once you better understand the device's capabilities you will be able to cook your best with real convenience. Mine is a blessing and I'm always searching YouTube for more Speedi recipes and ideas.

I've been having a blast the last few weeks trying out all sorts of meals with all the different settings it has. From an air fryer, to a roaster, broiler, dehydrator, slow cooker, sous vide, steamer and dough proofer. I've used most of these settings, my favorite so far are the sous vide, steamer and the speedi meals. Speaking of, the speedi meals that came with the unit as well as the speedi meal builder give you what feels like an endless variety of meals you can make! I went around my house, selected random items to make a meal, put it into the speedi meal builder and it gave me step by step directions on how to use the speedi meals function to turn that into a full meal! It's so much fun all the things you can make! I even made a cheesecake in it! I mean, c'mon, what other small kitchen appliance can do all that?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love all things Ninja, and originally picked this up for myself and my family assuming it was a pressure cooker/air fryer. While it's definitely not a pressure cooker and at 6 qt is a little on the smaller side when it comes to feeding a larger family - it has been PERFECT for my grown son and his girlfriend. They've recently been on a gym kick and neither of them have much experience making meals. This thing is a LIFESAVER. Between the Speedi and the recipe creator site - they've been whipping up meals based on what ingredients they have on hand like pros! The fact that it cooks the protein on the top layer while cooking the base/rice/pasta etc on the bottom layer SIMULTANEOUSLY... it just blows my mind. The ultimate gift for any young people getting out on their own

This is my second air fryer, my first was a fryer only and thus, influences my opinion of this model. I love the way this one will cook both dry and wet foods. I have used the slow cooker function to make a delicious pot roast. Having said that, I so not like the way you access the cooked items by lifting the lid and removing the pot. The cook pot has no handle and when lifted, the cooker becomes unstable. The cook element could cause a serious burn if it closed while you remove the pot. It's an excellent cooker, it's just not user friendly.

I bought this and gave away my air fryer/grill for the rapid speedi ninja. This is the MOST worthless kitchen appliance I have ever purchased. All the good reviews are from persons receiving a free product. I would never recommend this and wish I hadn't given away my previous air fryer! It either burns or undercooks no matter what settings I use. Save your money.

I brought this product due to the site saying you could cook a complete meal in 15 mintues. I was not excepting the results that I received. Everynight is a home cook, healthy meal, I come home use the meal builder and place everything into the cooker. Change my clothes and by the time I am done dinner is ready. No more worry about what we will eat or how I didn't take anything out of the freeze that morning. This machine works wonderful and is easy to set up and clean. I love my Ninja Speedi the food comes out wonderfu and I don't use salt in any of my meals but with the rapid cooker the natural juices are preserved into the food.
