I just bought this and liked everything about it.....EXCEPT...It burned my fingers and thumb. It is not well insulated. Should have been designed to not burn to the touch. I am returning it. I loved all the other features including fast heating time, design and controls.

You literally press the button and in less than a minute the water is hot. I like that it's fast and there's a gauge that allows you to see how much water is in the kettle. No more waiting for the tea pot to scream in the morning. The chef man kettle is quiet as a mouse in comparison to my tea pot. This is the kitchen gadget you never knew you needed!

In our house, we make 10+ cups of tea a day, so this got quite the warm welcome. Making tea for two took under 3 minutes flat to come to a full boil. I also like that it has a “keep warm” option for when you want a second cup. This option was helpful for my husband who does pour-over coffee all day. It holds 0.8 L (with room left over in the kettle), so there's enough for everyone to have a cuppa at the same time. It doesn't take up a lot of counter space either, which we love. The gooseneck curved spout was also a nice feature for controlled pouring. Our old kettle had a small “pitcher” type spout, which was harder to control when pouring. That one is now retired, thanks to this new Chefman kettle!

It's a perfect size to use and I like that it's not too big, so it doesn't take up too much room. It has a nice sleek black look for both the kettle and the base and has only a few simple buttons to choose the temperature for the water. It has a wonderful keep warm feature that is super handy! It was simple and easy to set up and figure out. It is perfect for a small household and if filled all the way up, it makes 2 large cups of tea. I am impressed how quickly it boils the water and adds a lot of convenience. It's a nice size to easily put away. I love this kettle!
