I wanted a firm mattress and this one is perfect! Best sleep I have had in a long time. Had a different memory foam mattress that just wasn't cutting it after 7 years, which really was 2 years longer than I should have put up with it. So happy to have this mattress.

At first, the mattress felt too firm but as I started to get used to it and break it in I am starting to have a better night's sleep. I have noticed that I do not toss and turn nearly as much sleeping on this mattress compared to my prior mattress that needed to be swapped out under warranty. I am so glad I paid for the upgrade on this mattress. I will say also this mattress is a lot cooler than the Tempurpedic mattress I owned in the past. I will say when it arrived it felt too firm but just sleep on it and it will break in just fine. I will say that it is relatively a thick mattress I needed new sheets as they kept coming undone. So just buy deeper pocket sheets especially if you have an adjustable base like I do that I also purchased.

Slept on our new mattress (ProAdapt 2.0 Hybrid Med.) for a couple of weeks now and am very happy. I'm not waking up with a backache or neck pain. My boyfriend's shoulder isn't hurting when he wakes up. The best part is I'm not falling into a hole anymore. My boyfriend weighs much more than I do and I always had to climb out of the whole in the mattress and cling to the side of the bed. No more, mattress is flat even when he lays down. That alone was worth buying this mattress!

I was pleasantly surprised of the as a whole the strength of the base, mattresses and flexibility (adjustable) in the bed.Although, we bought two twin XL's to make this king size bed - both sides - are really strong and do not give me worries that any part of the bed I sit on or lay on will fail.

I have degenerative disk disease in my entire spine and deal with constant pain. Back spasms are also an ongoing challenge I deal with. Before purchasing this mattress, I ended up having to sleep on our couch for two months. Now I am able to have quality sleep for the entire night. My back pain has gone from level 8 to level 3-4. I was a bit hesitant about spending this much money for a mattress. I'm so glad that my husband talked me into it. It has been worth every penny!
