Firm, but doesn't cause discomfort. It is PERFECT for me. 5'5", 135 lbs, 34 yrs, female. I've never had a more comfortable bed than this. Only downside was I had to air it out for two months to get rid of that chemical smell, but I am VERY sensitive to smells. It's great now after four months of use. Contrary to popular belief, it is very supportive of activities other than sleeping. Great bed.

I have been sleeping in the zero gravity position, it is amazing, I wake up and nothing hurts! I honestly didn't think I would fall asleep in that position but I do, my back used to be in pain with our old mattress, no more with this one, so thanks ☺️

Delivery was messed up twice with no regret for the impact it made on our lives. Limited communication to fix the issue; we were told we would get free pillows to make up for the difficulty, no communication since. When we reach out to Tempur-Pedic we were met with condescending responses and messages stating they couldn't find our order with our email despite sending screen shots of the purchase and exchanges with customer service. Despite the like or dislike of the bed we will never purchase from this company again. Customer service makes the difference and what we have received has been horrid

The delivery team arrived Monday, October 21, 2019 a Wonderful morning at 9:15am.... I was so excited to finally have my new bed after many months of remodeling my house. The delivery guys were so polite and courteous, simply outstanding, second to none! A special thank you to Sleep Outfitters' Danville KY store Manager, Tish O'Rea!!!She was so helpful, patient and kind during the purchase plight for a new mattress set. There were many changes along the way and Sleep Outfitters made every one of them effortless and a wonderful experience overall. My joints don't ache as much anymore. I am so happy to go to sleep instead of dreading it. I Don't wake up in the middle of the night. The Zero Gravity setting is my absolute favorite!!! It truly feels like I'm floating!!!Words cannot put how I feel about my bed...Love Love Love My Tempur Pedic!!! Thank you Tish for caring about the customer and giving such excellent customer service-you're the best! I'm Never going back to a standard mattress AGAIN!!! I am a forever a customer and will tell everyone that they have to see, test and purchase a Tempur Pedic and meet Tish O'Rea!!!

It took a couple of nights to get used to this mattress. We've had it almost a month now and I love it. My back feels amazing. I'm finally sleeping through the night. We had our last mattress for over 10 years and was waking multiple times through the night. The firmness might throw you off at first but now it is difficult wanting to get up in the mornings. We love our new mattress.

We tried all of the mattresses at the Tempur Pedicure store. It was difficult to choose and we settled on the Pro-Adapt Soft. I'm glad we did. It's super comfortable. I'm also so happy that we purchased the adjustable base. I have lower back pain and found that just elevating the foot of the mattress relieves any pressure on my lower back.

For the price I paid for this mattress I expected it to be much more comfortable. I have been using this mattress for about four months. I sleep on my back and I get up each morning with a back ache. I really did not expect this. I would not recommend this product. If I had to do it over again I would purchase a less expensive mattress and buy a comfortable mattress topper to go over it.

We are a long-term customer of tempur-pedic. We have slept on 2 mattresses over the course of 8 years. Both mattresses lost support and have begun to significantly sag within 2 years. We are not heavy by any means. My husband is 185 lbs. and I am 135 lbs. We use 2 waterproof mattress covers to ensure no sweat gets through, as my husband is a hot sleeper. We have BOTH developed nerve damage in our necks due to the sagging! We have been going to physical therapy and the chiropractor regularly to fix this for the last year and a half. Our arms go numb at night with excruciating tingling pain in the elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers. I have lost many nights of sleep trying to make this pain go away. My husband the same. After we went out of town and slept on a different bed, we knew the issue was with the mattress. Our first mattress we were able to return with warranty. The second however they won't allow it. The dip isn't large enough, which is completely inaccurate! Customer service is subpar. Quality is less than desirable for the cost of the mattress. I will NEVER purchase a tempur-pedic again. It seems their quality has diminished tremendously over the last 10 years. Don't waste your money.... You'll pay for it double time in health costs due to chronic pain and nerve damage.

This whole thing started where my wife and I wanted to upgrade to a king-size mattress and developed back problems over the years. We have two younger kids, so ever minute asleep is needed. We tried two Purple mattresses, and found them to be really stiff after the first few inches of support. This is not good for side sleepers. For side sleepers (especially larger builds), you need to go with Soft to allow for the hips to sink in the mattress, but also be supported. Its the best mattress I've slept on. After struggling for months waking up sore everyday, this mattress worked. The only negative, is that the white-glove delivery did take longer than if it was shipped directly, but saved my back for lugging this up a flight of stairs. Solid trade off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this bed out of necessity and did not get a chance to research it as much as I do with most major purchases. I had heard they were hot to sleep on and it took a long time to break in. I was reluctant to commit. The salesman assured us we would have 100 nights to sleep on it and decide if it was for us. We have loved it since the first night. It is not hot at all to sleep on. We did not have to break it in and we love the adjustable base we added to it. My favorite part is the massage setting. Overall we are very happy with the whole system and would buy it again.
