Not only its a the densest in consistency but it keeps just enough softness on the surface to not make the mattress rock solid. There is no sinking or stuck feeling in the mattress at all. It is highly recommended from me. Worth each and every penny!!

I always thought I was getting a good night's sleep until my new Tempur-pedic ProAdapt became a part of my life! I wake up with a completely rested body now. The plus is that the adjustable bed makes my legs feel so much better. I suffer from adult onset muscular dystrophy and the various settings are so helpful with my comfort. TV watching is an added plus!

When I get into the ProAdapt mattress, my focus becomes SLEEP. It is an amazingly advanced mattress in terms of quality, support, and still provides a plush, cloud-like feeling as if you're slowly sinking into the bed, long after you've already laid down. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As the title described, I broke my back in my youth (twice / 3 vertebrae total) along with ribs and other bones. To say that it is hard to find comfort on a bed is an understatement, and my husband similarly. At first I thought it was a little too stiff but just give it 15 minutes and the places that are putting pressure on the bed will really sink in. I ordered direct from the website. The mattress was scheduled to be delivered about a week later. The drivers were top notch and quite courteous, took all the trash with them and did all the lifting. Great follow through as well from the web order staff afterwards to make sure everything was okay. The first night your body is getting used to it, the second night you sleep quite soundly, the third night you start to realize your husband isn't snoring anymore. Worth it's weight in gold! ~M

My wife hated it but compromised because I was working. When I retired we got the tempurpedic mattress it was for her I thought. It has been great for me!! No back pain, just comfort!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bed is nothing short of a miracle, gone for us are the days waking up feeling stiff somewhere or just needing to stretch. My wife and I live physical lives and are very fit. We purchased the firm option and its definitely not a bed you can just jump into as it feels like jumping on wood. That being said, as you lay in it, the mattress molds to your body in the most perfect manner. After a few weeks it does soften a bit but not in a bad way. Our sleep is phenomenal with absolutely no more night disturbances or tossing and turning. If you've had it with soft plush beds that leave you feeling sore each day I cannot recommend this one enough. So worth the extra dollars. Best investment we've made.

We tried another memory foam mattress (trying to save $$$) and ended up returning it. Once you sleep on a Tempur Pedic it's hard to switch to anything else. Originally we planned to get the soft version, but after testing out the different models in store we opted for the hybrid. We are both side sleepers and needed a "soft"mattress. For those looking for soft model I recommend testing this hybrid. It is actually very soft yet has the firmness for sitting or laying on the edge.
