[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a different mattress for years and figured it was time to upgrade. We did a fair amount of research and settled on the ProAdapt Hybrid. After getting accustomed to the mattress, we can definitely see improvement in our sleep.

When we first slept on our new mattress we thought, "This is much harder than the one we chose at the store!" But upon checking, we realized it takes 30-40 nights to get it as soft as the ones in the store. We walked around on it a while, and now it is quite comfortable.

Ordered a twin long and mattress is too firm, so they are delivering a soft tomorrow. Great service and they honor their 90-day guarantee to try out the mattress. If you like a firm mattress, this one is for you, but try medium firm in a store first to be sure.

This bed was a very hard lump when it first arrived but has softened up a lot in the past month. I am happy that it came with a return policy because I am honestly not sure if I will be keeping it. I think I prefer more pillow top and soft. This bed does nothing to relieve back pain and actually seems to be causing back pain if I sleep on my back. I recently had a better night sleep on a hotel mattress that was really nothing special. I am not sure this bed was worth all the money.

I believe that owning a Tempur-Pedic mattress and pillow that is the right one for you is the key to achieving a restful night sleep and pain free. I no longer have to go for a biweekly massage that, oftentimes, only causes more neck and back pain. What is so wonderful about my Tempur-ProAdapt mattress is that it contours to the shape of my body. There are times when I do not lay my head on my Tempur-Pedic pillows, and that is absolutely fine too if you ask me. So far, I own two mattress from Tempur-Pedic and I know without a shadow of a doubt that it is going to last me more than 20 years. With care, weekly laundry-washing, and the soft touch of Tempur-Pedic bedsheets and pillow covers, I know for a fact that IT IS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF ME! I've had my new mattress for a month now and haven't had back pain once! This mattress is truly like sleeping on a cloud. If you're on the fence about purchasing go for it, you won't be disappointed!

My original Tempur-Pedic Cloud mattress for a little over 10 years and, although the mattress had held up very well, it was too soft for me now. Switched to the Proadapt Firm and noticed the difference after the first night...no tossing and turning and no morning backache for the first time in almost a year. It's firm, but not so firm that you feel like you're sleeping on the floor. I only with I had purchased it sooner!

I wasn't sure about how long the "break in period" would take but after two weeks of sleeping on the mattress, I began to feel the difference and sleep better and better. I thought I bought the wrong firmness but after the 4th week, I knew I made the correct choice. After sleeping on other types of memory foam mattresses for over 10 years, I am totally convinced there is nothing better than my Tempur-ProAdapt. I will never go back to those other types and brands. Thank you Tempur-Pedic for giving me "The Best" mattress I've ever owned. Know more back pains or waking up several times in the night. I can't think of one thing I don't like or am sorry I spent a little more for a Tempur-Pedic. This is a quality product!

First let me say the mattress feels great... then you fall asleep and suddenly you wake up HOT! I live in Illinois keep my house at 65 degrees and I'm still HOT. That's also considering our bedroom is the coldest room in the house. That so called cooling is only to the touch once you fall asleep it will retain your body heat. The others mattresses DO NOT KEEP YOU COOL, they merely keep you cooler than their regular mattress... so if you're a hot sleeper STAY AWAY!
