This is my first time owning such a firm bed, but I went with it based on my conversation with the local mattress specialist. After a one week adjustment period, my sleep quality has definitely improved from my previous mattress. The quality feels excellent, and the movement isolation is unreal; movements by another person are practically unfelt.

So my husband and I had an original Tempurpedic. We moved twice with it.It was about 20 years old.The original warranty said it was to last 20-25 years.We started to have back pain but no way blamed the matress.It was supposed to last 25 years.Well after going for therapy we finally caved called and told them we wanted the same exact matress we bought 20 years ago.That brought us to the Pro Adapt Firm.The FIRST night my hip and back pain was relieved.If I did not experience it myself I wouldve never ever believed it.We also got the top of the line pillows which I equally LOVE.Yes we still have the aches and pains of getting older but no longer is it the matress.We simply needed a NEW Matress.We love our Temperpedic and am so glad we decided to buy a new one.Thanks Temperpedic.The white glove delivery was also top notch.It was a wonderful buying experience all the way around and we bought it ONLINE direct from Tempurpedic!!!

I have been using a Tempur-Pedic mattress since the year 2000, and have recommended it to many friends. I still love it, but moved from New York to California, so thought it was a good time for a new one. The new Tempur-Pedic mattresses all looked different--much thicker, and with a textured top instead of my old smooth one. But now with my new Tempur-ProAdapt Firm, my back stills says "Thank you!" when I lie down. When I invite friends to try it, they also say "Thank you!"

The mattress was okay but very foamy, such that if you roll around during the night, you will be working with the initial impression that your body left. Also, I have a bad lower back and found it didn't provide enough support (I'm 5'4", 113lbs). I did get the ergo base and love that. The only way to improve that would be to have a timer set so that after falling asleep it would revert to the regular position.

We are only a couple weeks in after our purchase. After 25 years of trying a new mattress every couple years, we finally chose a Tempur Pedic. The first night we went to bed late but I woke up at 5am feeling fully rested. Like, could not sleep anymore and got up ready to start the day. Having come from a pillow top, the height of the bed is a wonderful change. No more jumping into the bed. Since the first night, I have woke up feeling rested with no back pain. Looking forward to many more rested mornings.

I love this bed and the adjustable base. I sleep better than I did with my old bed. I am less sore when I wake up most mornings now. I would definitely recommend this bed to anyone. The mattress protector, that I HAD to purchase however, was a complete waste of money. It does not keep you cooler at all like it claims it's supposed too and the fitted sheet slides all over on it because it is way too slippery. It's also nonrefundable, which I think is ridicules since it was not cheap. I would only give this a 1 out of 5 stars. I would give the ProAdapt Medium Hybrid 5 out of 5 stars.

I normally do not do reviews but this weekend, we visited the Frontenac store in Ladue,MO. Corinne- our sales associate was awesome. From the time we arrived and explained we were trying to learn about their beds, their bases, she took it from there. Had great questions from both of us, wanted to understand our sleep regiment and from there began demo process on various mattresses and bases. Great experience. We have never owned a mattress like this before and can't wait to experience it. Corrinne made this a great experience and it was a true pleasure working with her. We left there Saturday, talked about it and returned Sunday. Had a few more questions, tested bed again and guess what- made the purchase.Thank you for everything you did for us as I would highly recomend her to anybody in the St.Louis area that is ready to make a change in their mattress but maybe their sleep style to receive the best night ever. I wanted a firm mattress and it is very firm, but still conforms to my body and ended up being the perfect combination of support and conformity for me. I'm waking up without back pain for the first time in a long time, so overall I'm extremely happy with my purchase!

My boyfriend and I had recently moved to a new apartment and had our mattress damaged during the moving process. We needed a mattress and fast! We tried every mattress in the store and could not find something we liked until on our way out we laid down on the Tempur-ProAdapt Soft. It was like no other mattress in the store! It was extremely comfortable, minimal to no motion transfer, and the best support. After going to about 5 different mattress stores and laying down on over 75 beds we returned to purchase the Tempur-ProAdapt Soft. We have had this mattress for a month now and I have had the best sleep ever. My back feels amazing when I wake up in the morning, I can't feel my partner move around in the middle of the night, and I never want to leave my bed. If anyone has trouble deciding if they want this mattress based on the price, it will be worth every penny! I will forever be sleeping on a Tempur-Pedic mattress! Also don't forget to purchase a pair of Tempur-Pedic pillows to go with this amazing bed.
