First let me say the mattress feels great... then you fall asleep and suddenly you wake up HOT! I live in Illinois keep my house at 65 degrees and I'm still HOT. That's also considering our bedroom is the coldest room in the house. That so called cooling is only to the touch once you fall asleep it will retain your body heat. The others mattresses DO NOT KEEP YOU COOL, they merely keep you cooler than their regular mattress... so if you're a hot sleeper STAY AWAY!

I have two other tempurpedic beds in my house (one of a higher level and one of a lower level of tempurpedic) and this one easily compares to the higher level bed! There is the perfect amount of softness, while also having enough firmness to it. The bed scoops you in comfortably and allows for a restful night of sleep. I can honestly say I fall asleep quicker and do not toss and turn while sleeping in this bed. I wake up feeling refreshed after a restful night of sleep in this bed. I have always recommended tempurpedic beds and will continue to do so after being able to review this product.

So a couple of things to keep in mind, the mattress takes a while to break in and can sleep warmer than other mattresses. With this in mind, choose appropriate bedding, my wife, and I use cooling sheets and blankets as anyone might in the summertime. After the bed breaks in, it does hug your curves and supports you completely. I have had ours now for two months and feel amazing benefits, no back or neck pain, worth the investment. We have tried other companies that ship in a box, and this is just superior quality and manufacturing. One thing I would like to note is they do have the top cooling layer to their bed with the tight-knit material, but you don't notice when sheets are on, unless you sleep directly on, which I know most would not do as it may void a warranty from stains. I wish Tempurpedic would offer the same quality of knitting for the bed as a sheet or blanket set. Pro is the comfort you will obtain, its truly unlike any other bed and it shows how they made memory foam their own. A con, it's relatively expensive, but its made in the USA and they employ US workers, this means a lot to my family. I suggest this bed for anyone with back pain or special conditions. Perhaps another suggestion I could make is most other companies will offer a full money back warranty with no restocking fees and an extended trial period, Tempurpedic is more conservative compared to others, but, they most likely incur more costs than the others do. Excellent mattress, try it out at a store first before buying, as there are many models. Its all about the right feel for you and your body type/preferences. Great bed, sleeping well! If you are looking for a firm mattress, the TEMPUR-ProAdapt Firm is fantastic. After a couple of minutes it molds to the shape of your body, holing you in a straight, comfortable position. Our old mattress was causing back pain due to sagging. After only a couple of nights on the TEMPUR-ProAdapt Firm there was a significant improvement with complete relief a few days later.

I love my new TEMPUR-ProAdapt Soft mattress! I am a curvy middle-aged woman and I've finally found a super comfortable mattress that fully supports my lower back and hips in any sleeping position. I no longer awaken with sore hips and shoulders, and I sleep more soundly during the night because I'm not constantly changing positions to relieve pressure points. It's amazing how much more rested I feel in the morning and I've even started waking up before my alarm goes off!

I was having pretty severe back pain on rising in the morning. My doctor asked how old my mattress was -- errr, old! So I did some research and ended up buying a Tempur-ProAdapt Soft mattress. Have had it about a month and AM IN LOVE! I had always bought firm mattresses but this soft mattress has a LOT of support and is comfortable the minute I lie down. Once you've laid on a Tempur-Pedic, you won't want anything else. The cooling effect from the mattress is wonderful, it really helps keep you comfortable through the night. I have gone through several high quality mattresses that did not live up to my expectations. After having major spinal surgery in 2019 with 7 fusions & 2 replaced vertebrae, I could not get comfortable on any of them. This mattress conforms to my body & provides me with a good night's sleep which I have not had in years!
