Plus One Star for the substantial quality of the mattress. Plus One Star for the look of the mattress. Plus One Star for the easy set up. Minus One Star for comfort. Mattress feels like a rock so I probably made a mistake in buying a firm mattress. The ones in the stores that so tried probably were broken into when I tried them, so probably wasn't experiencing the true feel of the mattress. With this new mattress for almost 2 months, couple of times had a back ache and couple times my legs cramped up. Not sure if due to the mattress or not. Minus One star for the adjustable feature as the mattress does not fully conform to the shape of the Ease and doesn't feel very comfortable in the upright position. Wasn't expecting this for one of the most expensive mattresses I have purchased.

The soft is soft yet firm. It's very very comfortable. I had the firm but it was to firm for me. I tried the medium and the hybrid and they just didn't work for me but when I tried the soft I could tell right away this is the one. Ever since it's like I have been sleeping on a cloud.

We bought our first Tempur-Pedic mattress in 2003. We replaced it this year. The first one was the greatest thing we had ever experienced. The present one is even greater. We are both 80 years old and have physical challenges. This is the best sleep we've ever had.

I sleep best on a firm mattress and this one doesn't disappoint, providing it doesn't break down. I've had mine for nearly 1.5 years and need to make a warranty claim. Every morning, my partner would sit on the edge of the bed while he put on his socks, shoes, etc before work. The firmness has gone and I feel like I have rolled into a hole. Remember the bowling ball mattress where they drop the ball onto the mattress but it doesn't disturb the glass of red wine? This mattress is not like that. I feel every move my partner makes. I wish I had gotten the split mattress! Maybe I wouldn't feel so much movement????

Bought this mattress thinking I would really love it but I don't. Although I bought soft the mattress just feels hard. I'm having trouble adjusting to it. I read all the good reviews but laying on the mattress at the store was not a good way to determine the comfort of the mattress

We replaced a Tempur-Pedic Supreme King mattress set for the Tempur-Pro Adapt Soft TXL Mattresses with the adjustable bases for head and foot. While they are soft and fairly comfortable, I feel like I'm 14 again in my "Twin" bed. I find myself constantly on one side or the other, never in the middle often on the "crack" because I'm 5'10" and 200 lbs. To break up a great king mattress for two (2) twins just to have the ability to raise and lower the head and foot is not worth the loss of the big king. My wife loves it, but we seldom raise the head or the foot unless we are "Not Sleeping" but lounging and watching TV. It's a trade off that only a Back Sleeper might enjoy. I am disappointed and since my wife loves it so much, and I feel like I'm headed for the guest room to enjoy the comfort of my old mattress. We moved the Supreme King into our guest room. Great product but wrong choice. Having a King adjustable would not always be fair to one or the other sleeper who might not want the head elevated etc. Still in the trial period but feel I am stuck. What I recommend is two (2) Queen's for a truly giant sleeping experience.

I'm amazed how at how well I sleep on our Tempur-pedic! I have shoulder and sciatica issues; and I no longer wake up stiff and sore. It took a couple of weeks for my body to adjust, but that is expected whenever getting a new mattress. I now sleep so sound, no longer waking up every couple of hours to change position due to discomfort like I did with a different brand of memory foam mattress.

These mattresses are not what they once were before. I started off with a medium firm, it was too firm and caused sharp pain on my elbows and shoulders. Then I was steered towards the soft; which turned out to be too soft, it feels like a cheap 20 year old mattress with no support at all, I literally sleep in a bowed position. Because of the lack of support, I filed a warranty claim under the impression I received a faulty product, the warranty chose to deny my claim after making me hop through hoops of fire for them. (warranty literally wants you to take a picture of the whole mattress with no sheets, a straight edge on it and a quarter in between the straight edge and the mattress at specific angles, multiple times I explained to them the integrity is faulty not the actual physical shape) Because of this faulty/poor mattress I have developed a constant subtle lower back pain. I'm out of my house 3-6 nights a month, and the nights I don't sleep on my Tempur Pedic I wake up with no pain on my back and actually somewhat rested, I have come to dread sleeping on this mattress. Tempur Pedic has no timeless classic of a product, their lineup is all propaganda. Their mattresses bottom out at varying points depending on the firmness and when they do it is the equivalent of concrete not clouds. The competition has caught up to Tempur Pedic, they are no longer what they once upon a time were. A consumer can buy a mattress of a fraction of the cost with a topper and have a better quality sleep. Until further notice I'm stuck with this mattress because I financed it and cannot simply throw it out. Neither Tempur Pedic, the box store I bought it from are willing to hold themselves accountable for this poor product. You have been warned.

This has been amazing starting with the salesman that was outstanding and very knowledgeable about the products. The Delivery and set up was excellent. The comfort of this mattress is beyond excellent. I was able to sleep on my back for the first time in 25 years with no pain

We tried all of the mattresses at the Tempur Pedicure store. It was difficult to choose and we settled on the Pro-Adapt Soft. I'm glad we did. It's super comfortable. I'm also so happy that we purchased the adjustable base. I have lower back pain and found that just elevating the foot of the mattress relieves any pressure on my lower back.
