We thought by now, we'd either love it or hate it. However, we have some good nights sleep and others where the firm mattress is "too" hard. We may end up switching it for the medium; we didn't think it would take this long to make a decision - - still not sure it's for us.

Our mattress was past the 10 year mark but lost comfort years prior. It's nice to sleep through the night not having to get up because my hip and shoulder ache. My husband loves having the head and feet up, i love just putting the head up a notch! I like to hit the ground running and this bed is helping me get back there.

delivery was not acceptable... had to reset and i gave them a cash bonus without knowing they did not do it correctly nor assist with placing wires under bed into brackets. I still have not completed this task yet. they did not place wiring under bed and wires are dragging on floor not as comfortable as expected or not any real improvement in the mattress I had before. I did have a tempur pedic mattress pad on top of my mattress I used prior. I just do not see or feel the difference for pricing.

I was hesitant at first, I had heard that Tempur-pedic's could be hot to sleep on, and I am a very hot sleeper. I was also concerned it may be too firm, I like fluffy clouds, ha. However, I was so pleasantly surprised the first time I laid on it, how it literally felt like it was holding me. I have trouble with my hips hurting when I sleep, and this is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. I don't toss and turn anymore, and I don't wake up in night sweats. My husband also likes that it doesn't make noise when he gets up earlier than me in the morning, so he doesn't wake me. It is heavenly!!

We needed another bed but we only wanted one like the original one we purchased years ago. The Tempur-ProAdapt has met that standard! And we love it! Expensive but worth every penny!

So my ultimate heaven of a mattress has had a long back story. I started with the cloud - and I liked it ok (definitely is soft) but it was not supportive enough (I have back pain). I returned it online and then bought the Adapt Medium Hybrid from their Tysons Virginia store. It was excruciating to deal with their online support people and when the delivery company finally came (after a lot of back and forth with Tempur customer service) the company told me they have no documentation about needing to pick up the old mattress (after my confirming with the Tempur multiple times) but they were willing to take it away - after giving them an extra $40 on the side! So - the adapt hybrid helped my back but my shoulder started hurting, I wasn't wild about the bounce, but I would have kept it if it wasn't causing pain- I had it for a couple of weeks tried a topper (helped my shoulder but then my back would hurt). Because I had done a return to online and purchase in store, and my family knew of the bed difficulties, I was offered the additional money as a birthday present and bought the Pro-adapt Medium (which felt perfect when I tried it in the store). I started reading these reviews only after ordering and was terrified it would be too hard given all the reviews. But - it came at last yesterday, at first it was ok but a little firm (and very cold) - I sped up the softening by adding an electric blanket for a few hours. And I have to say this bed is THE BOMB. I'm on a tight budget, and I really think Sealy could easily perform some obvious belt tightening (their processes are necessarily cumbersome, outmoded and there seem to be countless people employed who are rather unhelpful (honestly clueless and useless and I don't say this lightly). But after all the frustration, and the insane amount of money they charge (plus the 2xs paying their obnoxious $175) I can say the Pro-Adapt Medium is worth it - it is truly a doughy oasis - no pain at all - perfect softness and yumminess, but also supportive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are so lucky to own two of these. We own a queen size and king size Tempur-Pro Adapt. We also own the pillows. They are all Firm. My husband suffers with a bad back. This is the only mattress he can get a good nights sleep on. Myself, I really enjoy the pillows too. I had neck pain and when we started sleeping on the Tempur pillows that seemed to really eliminate the pain.I would love to be able to put one of these in our guest room. We have a lot of company and I am sure they would enjoy sleeping on a Tempur mattres and possibly go home and purchase one.

Having to make an exchange was definitely needed and by far our choice on this mattress has made our backs and ultimate sleep become more relaxed! No more tossing and definitely no more waking up with aches. Comfort of adjustment on our body is amazing . I wish it wasn't so heavy! Other than that you get for what you pay!

Our 10+ year old spring mattress was leaving me achy every morning, would wake up feeling like I got punched all night. Now those aches and pains are gone, baby! Tempur pedic so supportive it just contours your body and hugs you. Now... the down side - this mattress sleeps warm, I had no idea coming from a traditional mattress. We just put new bamboo sheets on last night and they are feeling cooler. We have a few more days to decide if we want to exchange to a luxe breeze - they are expensive but we might. Probably worth it if you're a hot sleeper, I would suggest their breeze line.

The price for these mattresses and adjustable bases are outrageous! With that said, we are about 1 month into using our mattress and it is hard to get out of bed in the morning because you sleep so deeply. I swear this mattress makes you sleep longer and deeper, which is great for me. I used to take forever to fall asleep and then wake up every couple of hours between the night...not anymore. Love the firmness, yet not firm. Love the way it contours to your body but doesn't "suck" you in. One big flaw, the mattress is very hot! Supposedly it has cooling technology, but doesn't seem to work because we were both waking up in a pile of sweat. The good news is that we bought a cooling mattress pad from a local store that didn't break the bank and it solved the problem. We thought about trading it in before we bought the cooling mattress pad for the Tempur-pedic that has the most cooling technology, but that one was even more expensive. Bought the cooling pad and have no sweating issues anymore. To sum it up, price is very steep, but I have never slept better once I purchased a mattress cooling pad for it.
