After researching every available gazebo model on the market, we chose this one and couldn’t be happier with our decision. We live in the CA desert where wind gusts in our area can regularly reach up to 75 mph. This model said it could withstand 125 mph winds, which no other product claimed, so I selected this one for that very purpose. Prior to the gazebo’s arrival, we had a contractor pour cement and add steel brackets to the post locations. We opted to pay the additional money to have the gazebo built by the company and we’re so glad we did as it took three men, several hours to do it. They did a wonderful job and were very friendly. Once they finished, our contractor added steel bolts to the posts, securely attaching them to the brackets, thus ensuring they would withstand our crazy, erratic conditions. Our contractor also added string light bulbs and a ceiling fan/light. He then hooked up a waterline to the gazebo and installed a misting system. Finally, he hung interior mosquito netting curtain panels and outer heavy privacy curtains, both of which are tied at the four corners when not in use. We LOVE our new outdoor space! Our friends and family have also marveled at it. We love that the structure is built from beautiful wood beams, rather the aluminum like many of the models we see. We have a day bed couch, two chairs and a coffee table under it, and since it has extra electrical outlets, we regularly bring a lightweight TV outside to watch while snuggled up on the couch. This gazebo has allowed us to enjoy our backyard more fully now. And every time I gaze out to our backyard and see it, it makes me happy. My husband says that makes this the best purchase ever.

We live in Indiana- strong winds sometimes. So we did our research and saw this Gazebo first time in Sams Club. We compared it with various Gazebos from other companies but every time it came out as a winner. Very solid build and of high quality. We recommend taking the professional installation service as well. Two people came to install this- it took them 5 hours. They also shared people with some handyman skills have started it and then have called them to complete it.

This is a high-quality gazebo. It was delivered approximately 10 days from purchase and delivery was smooth despite multiple heavy boxes. It does require at least two people for assembly and took approximately two days to put together properly, including lock-tite and full assembly. It looks great and works very well!

This is a great gazebo but very difficult to assemble. I had 4 other guys help my and it took well over 10+ hours. Also the App is great but in some spots it dosen't allign with the printed instuctions. I highly recommend the product but I also recommend paying someone for assembly and delivery.

My Cordova Gazebo is such an added space. My family loves the leisure pleasure of the Cordova. It has added so much joy and beauty to out backyard. Guest want to get one for their entertainment pleasure. I would definitely purchase again. Very sturdy and looks beautiful.

I not only gave it 5 stars for quality but also for customer service. We had to columns that had split at the bottom. My husband was concerned as they were the wait bearing columns. He called on a Saturday late afternoon expecting to get a recording. They answered and said they would send both columns right out. On Monday we received the notification that they had sent them FedEx 2 day. This was not expected. We had to get in touch with them with 2 more questions… my husband emailed at 11pm and had a response by 9:30 the next morning. We will be buying another gazebo to cover our deck. The quality is excellent and the instructions are thorough. My husband would rather read the instructions but when he didn’t understand something the app walked him through it. My husband takes his time but the picture shows the progress right now. We highly recommend this company and their products. Just save us a 20x12 for our deck when we need it lol Thanks VP

My wife and her friend saw this gazebo at Sams Warehouse for $1600. Price was right so we ordered it right away. They let us know that Sams had ordered 6 of these and wasnt expected to come in for quite a while. So I got on to the internet to find it somewhere else. Now when I was doing this it was right before Mothers Day and this was going to be perfect for her in the backyard. In my search i found this same gazebo on your website Backyard Discovery. But at a substantually higher cost $2400. My wife didnt like it but I ordered it anyway knowing it was going to be here the following week. . Timing was perfect for her Mothers Day. I bought it and our sons came to put it together on Mothers Day. I have to say this kit was really well thought out. the instructions were so easy to follow. Even for this dum truckdriver. I’m glad I purchased this gazebo. It was tedious to put all of the parts together and I only had problems with a few parts. I had to really clean the pre drilled holes in the posts. The first few times I tried to put the bolts and nuts through, I kept catching some residual saw dust. I only had problems with the posts though. I did like that an app was available to look at the pictures a little better. The app and paper directions do not match completely. I primarily used the paper copy. I watched several videos on cedar gazebos like this one and I did not appreciate the difference between the Backyard Discovery Gazebo and the Yardistry Gazebo until I put the roof on with help. Backyard Discovery uses a frame to attach the roof panels to and the videos for other cedar gazebos do not have a frame. The benefit is evident when placing the roof panels. We put up one at a time instead of trying to hold up three panels before bolting them together. It came together so much easier than the videos. I purchased the Backyard Discovery Gazebo because of the look and the anchor plates. We get a lot of wind in my back yard sometimes and I didn’t want to worry about it during a wind storm. I wanted to use the biggest concrete anchors that would fit in the pre drilled holes. The wind ratings and snow loads were higher than other products. I’m very happy with how it turned out. I only finished it two weeks ago. I’m not going to disclose how long it took me to put together because I was doing it by myself for the most part except for installing the beams between the posts and the roof. It seems very solid and it is attractive which are my main concerns.
