I purchased this bench because it matched the already existing chairs that I had, or close to it. The picture in the description is a little misleading. It's a little lighter and the fabric is also lighter. It seems as though the bench gets pretty good reviews on the Sam's Club website, but for me, one of the pre-drilled holes for the legs didn't line up correctly, making it impossible to finish putting together the bench without redrilling the holes in order to get enough thread through the 45° mounting bracket. If this was anybody else they would just return the bench, but for $200 and my time I fixed the problem with some basic tools. This is not what a $200 piece of furniture should require.

Looks great. Matches the aesthetic of our home. Sat down on this in store and oh my goodness it is so firmed it shocked me when I plopped down. We will not be buying for that reason. Hard as a Rock even if it is for our front door entry.

It is sturdy and love the storage shelf on bottom to keep cluttered shoes out of the way. It is slim and won't take up much room in a bedroom.

Only bummer is drinks wouldn't do well on it. I like how long it is rather than the shorter versions I often see. I will say, even though it's subtle, I don't like the striping on the fabric

It looks good with the bed but I would love it in a hallway. the storage option on the bottom is great to tuck things away where you can still use them easily but ensure they do not start cluttering the area. It's also comfortable as seating and could easily be pulled up in the living room or to a table to accommodate larger gatherings.

I love that it matches the Westport bed, but it could also be used in an entryway, hallway or anywhere in the home. The wood underneath would be perfect for storing a few things out of the way.

The padding on the bench is super thick. No movement when you sit or get up. A great addition to anywhere in the home! This matches so many items that are popular right now. It's a must if you purchase the matching bed. There is ample storage under the bench for whatever you need to put there.
