we researched, shopped, went to stores laying on all kinds of mattresses, and landed on the Tempur-Adapt. for us, it was a very good choice. it is somewhat cooling, but not totally which is good for my husband. we both feel like we sleep so much better and deeper. I sleep on my side, and back, and either way is supportive and comfortable. I will be anxious to see how this hold up for us. the weird thing is, and I have not seen this mentioned anywhere, is that the California King sheets fit better than our king size sheets did. we just happen to try a CK that my mother had, and it fit great. I don't think anyone would be disappointed in making this purchase.

I am bought two mattresses in November for my mom and I. Both mattresses at that time were firm. About a month later I returned mines because it was still really hard and made my whole body hurt. I would get up in the morning and my whole body would be hurting. I have an adjustable base but it didn't matter if I was laying flat out elevated. I got the medium which is OK but I still get up in the morning with back aches. I purchased this bed because it was said to be top of the line, would conform to your body and help to relief body aches this is not the case. I am not satisfied with this product because it did not live up to the hype, and especially the price that I paid for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used memory foam mattresses for years in my whole family. This mattress blows all of those other ones out of the water. At first we were a little skeptical about the firmness. Upon laying on the bed at first it feels like it is going to be a hard mattress, but as you lay on it you can feel your body kind of sinking into it. The mattress really does conform to your body. I used to toss and turn all night long trying to find a comfortable spot to sleep in. With this mattress I roll onto my side and I move maybe once during the night to readjust myself, because I no longer feel the aches from being in the same position while sleeping. I love that this mattress does not cause any aches and pains while sleeping in one spot for hours. I can even fall asleep better with this mattress. I have a hard time with falling asleep at night, but I get so comfortable and relaxed in this mattress that that hasn't been an issue. I used to have to take Melatonin just to be able to fall asleep. With this new mattress that has not been an issue for me. The one downside I think of this mattress has is the thickness. I personally prefer a thicker mattress, and a higher bed. That is a small issue in the grand scheme of things and I would choose a comfortable mattress over the depth of a mattress for visual reasons. I would recommend this mattress for anyone who wakes up with everyday aches and pains, because they WILL be gone. You will wake up refreshed and well rested! So at first, l was kind of iffy. I thought it was hard, l mean this was when it first came out the plastic, then l laided on it and l literally felt like this was a mattress hand crafted by God. It's seemed to form around my body. I'm talking by far the mattress I've ever bought. I mean I've slept like a new born the best sleep I've gotten. I literally could go on and on. It's one of those bed where even if you aren't sleepy you'll go to sleep. My back doesn't hurt anymore and neither do my legs. I love this mattress and it hasn't even been a week.

We've had a Tempur-pedic for over 20 years and love these beds. I can't imagine sleeping on anything else. I've now put a Tempur-pedic topper in our guestroom and the bed is so much more comfortable now. I've had multiples shoulder and back surgeries and these truly are the only bad so I can sleep on.

Unfortunately I purchased mine for Mattress Firm and under the salesman's direction I also bought a pillow. Tried it for a week and didn't like it and to my surprise they wouldn't do anything to help. They said no returns on pillows, sheets and mattress protectors. It was in perfect condition and he wouldn't even look at it. They he said I will sell you another one! I don't think so buddy Good mattress, not so good store!

Let me give you a little background... My husband describes me as the princess and the pea.... let me tell you I'm PICKY on mattresses. In the last few years we've gone through about 4-5 different ones and I almost about gave up and felt that I would just deal with back pain the rest of my life. I was seeing chiropractor on the weekly and my hip and sciatic pain was out of control. I woke up every morning miserable and glad it was morning so i could get out of bed. BUT NOW THATS ALL CHANGED! I told my husband we had to cough up the money and buy something nice, it had to work! My friends always rave about their tempur mattresses so We bit the bullet and tried the hybrid (less of a sink in mud feeling). The first few nights as it was breaking in were a little rough, but we walked in it and left the sheets off during the day to hurry the process. After a few days I was pain free. I couldn't believe it! This mattress saved my back, and i no longer see the chrio and hobble around. Its honestly been life changing!!! I hope it can be your miracle too! Ps- got the cloud pillow and it's FABULOUS. Highly recommend.

I haven't slept on it yet, but the serial number to register for warranty was under the mattress at the head. I bought a king so after I put the protector on I say down to register. You need to move that tag!!! I hurt my back lifting the king mattress by myself. I have no one to help. If I knew about this when they delivered. I could have easily written it before they put it in place!!! Move the tag. I will speak to the dealer about advising customers about this!!

Took some time getting use to from a traditional spring mattress but after a month or so it was perfectly fine. Would've given 5 stars but one of my only complaints is the lack of removable cover to be able to wash it.
