We recently purchased our 3rd Tempur-Pedic mattress set in 25+ years. I guess you could say we are "hooked". Our newest T-P mattress is the TEMPUR-Adapt, and may be the best yet. Extremely comfortable! The T-P mattress that the Adapt replaced is now being used in our guest bedroom, and our recent guests raved how comfortable their 3 nights on the 9 year old T-P mattress. Obviously, there remains very useful life for a 9 year old mattress. My wife and I expect and anticipate many comfortable, restful nights on our new TEMPUR-Adapt mattress set. Our only comment ("things we don't love") regarding the new TEMPUR-Adapt would be the "slickness" of the bottom surface of the mattress and the top surface of the box foundation. The "slickness" causes the bottom bed sheet to creep loose during the night requiring an almost remake of the bed. We are not restless sleepers, exactly the opposite (dead-zone sleepers). To date, we have found no acceptable solution to this annoying problem. It matters not what material the sheet sets are made of, we have tried several different fabrics with good cotton sheets being the least susceptible. Your thoughts, comments, and/or solutions will be greatly appreciated. All else being considered, we would likely never be without our Tempur-Pedic!!

Quite expensive, but we were tired of restless nights with an uncomfortable mattress. We were told it may take a few nights for the mattress to conform to our bodies, but after a week to ten days we would like it. We experienced great comfort immediately. After 10 days or so, my wife still loves it. ln my case, I wake with a little discomfort in my lower back almost daily; which I did not experience initially. I don't understand why, but it is still better than our old worn out mattress.

I have arthritis and this mattress helps alleviate the pressure on my hips and knees. I was worried about the mattress holding heat, but it doesn't. It took about a month to get used to it, but I don't think I'll ever go back to a traditional mattress.

After reading several reviews and trying out this mattress in the store, my wife and I decided to purchase 2 Twin XL's. At first, this mattress seemed comfortable, but after a couple of nights, I noticed that it does not support the upper back, neck, and shoulder areas. I tried several different pillows and tried sleeping in different positions but I just couldn't get to sleep peacefully. When I did wake up, my back was twisted and achy. Secondly, when you turn on your side there is little support and it is quite uncomfortable. After 55 days of restless sleep, I returned this mattress for the Pro Adapt Medium model. With all that being said, what works for one person may not work for another. My wife is satisfied with her mattress but she does not suffer from back and neck issues. Be sure to shop around and try out as many tempur pedic beds as possible before buying. The company has a nice portfolio of different mattress styles and they definitely have something for everyone. Also, make sure you have a pillow that is compatible to the mattress. I noticed that certain pillows work great with some mattresses, but when you switch beds, the pillow takes on a totally different feel. I am pleased that tempur pedic has a return policy. Otherwise, I would be one unhappy sleepless customer. I am very happy with the Pro Adapt Medium Firm Mattress.

Just purchased our first Tempur-Pedic bed. Upon entering, every sales associate greeted us. Vince took us to four different mattresses, explaining all with expertise. I did not feel pressured, rather I felt like a guest whose needs were trying to be met with professionalism and accuracy. From there Vince showed us several pillow styles until we found the one that best matched our mattress selection. Finally, Vince turned into Al Buddy as he patiently helped me find a pair of slippers that were both cute and comfortable. Finally, the manager Paul helped with finalizing the transaction, both ensuring that everything was correct and that we were highly satisfied before leaving. I'm very excited to try our new bed but based on the store experience I feel confident we will sleep very well! As for customer service, Vince knocked it out of the park! I've had the bed for over a month and every day wake up with an extremely painful low back. I also can't stay asleep for long before waking up with bad pain. I had upper back and shoulder pain with my old mattress but never low back pain. As an exclusive side sleeper with chronic upper back pain I'm thinking i may need more support. It is a nice mattress, just doesn't work for me. I'm exchanging it for a sealy posturepedic hybrid kelburn. It's not worth the cost to try another tempurpedic as I thought the firmer one was too firm

I love the comfort of my new Tempur-Pedic Medium Hybrid mattress but the foam makes it hot to sleep. It holds your body heat so I'm sleeping hot during the night. I hope I get used to this because it's Spring now and it will be hotter in the summer months. For comfort though, I love the feel of this mattress. Just wish it wasn't so hot. If you sleep hot I might NOT recommend this mattress.

I was so excited about our new mattress! I was told it would take a few months to break in and my back to not hurt in the morning. Well it's been over six months and both my husband and I have terrible lower back pain when we get up every morning and it's getting worse! I wake up after about 6 hours of sleep because my back hurts and I can't fall back asleep. Without increasing my pain medications, I am limited to less then 8 hours of sleep on my new mattress, the whole point of getting a new mattress was to help my back pain and not need to take medication! What a waste of money we haven't even paid yet since we financed through a furniture company we are stuck paying for it and will probably have to start sleeping on our 20 year old Sealy postur-pedic again.

ive had this bed just shy of a year on an adjustable base. It's amazing of course. Took some time to get use to the "stuck in mud" feel. But now i wouldn't have it any other way. I really can't dont think it stays cool all night. Just feels cool when you first lay down. A year in i noticed i could feel the springs with my knee when i got into bed. Then i noticed there was a huge 3 foot across T shaped tear in the mattress all the way down to the springs. I never would have expected that to happen in less than a year. They're replacing it but its a hassle, especially during this pandemic. Hopefully this wont happen again.

We have an Tempur-Pedic mattress that is over ten years old and still love it. So we did not hesitate to buy a new one. However this mattress is not for us. The mattress support is inconsistent making it feel lumpy. We almost feel like we are slumping towards the middle of the bed. We have concluded that it is too soft as we are mostly side sleepers. We will be returning it.
