My first was also a medium and was perfect for me. I went with the same for that reason. No regrets.

Loved the mattress but my husband and I sweat every single night. I don't want to spend $2000 on another mattress to prevent heat being trapped

Good bed, but wish it was a bit softer. Nothing can be done about that unless a more expensive mattress is purchased.
