I tried this mattress out in the store and the firmness felt perfect. For the first few weeks the firmness was great and it relieved pressure on my spine wonderfully. Then it started to soften more and more to the point where 2 months after buying, I sink all the way down to the springs like I'm on a cheap 20 year old spring mattress. Absolutely horrible. Do not buy.

With previous mattresses I would toss and turn all night, literally waking up in pain every time I'd roll over. I was dealing with major lower back pain and shoulder pain all day every day. My husband finally let me order this Mattress and I do not regret it at all. From night one I noticed a difference, I was only waking up because of my cat and not back pain. Worth every penny! We have the adjustable base with this as well and will never go back to any other type of mattress. There is seriously nothing to not love, we love everything about this Mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now, I have to admit, the firm is a little more firm then I would have liked but it is good for my back. I have Scoliosis and poor vericose veins and being able to adjust my bed has given me great relief! The massage feature is a great bonus.

We have the King Split Tempur Adapt....there must be better mattresses. It was fine in the store. My husband is getting great sleep. Both of us have back issues. I find the bed uncomfortable. I am not getting good sleep and my back does not feel better. Am thinking of returning my side of this bed. It is a lot of money for a mediocre experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent mattress. Great sleep. It's our second. Delivery is painless. Recommend getting a good quality mattress pad because cover of mattress is a bit slippery in feel and cheap pads slide around a bit.

If you are looking for beds to relieve your joint and other pressures points, like especially away from your hips and shoulder, Stay away! Do not buy this product. It felt ok when going into a showroom to lay for a quick test, but its until you begin to sleep on it after purchasing it, that my inner hip joints have been taking a beating. I wake up in pain everyday. You might as well sleep on the floor! My old sring mattress was noisey, but way more comfortable.

We thought this bed was a great buy and were excited to have it however I soon realized I was getting too warm when I wake up and need to move to a cooler place on the mattress. It was like the heat gets trapped. My husband on the other hand really enjoyed it at first but the longer we have had it, the more achy he has become and frequently has been waking up. We are both side sleepers and we think we need a softer bed also. This hybrid having 1/2 spring facilitates love making better than 100% foam but due to the aches and heat, we are considering a trade in for a traditional spring mattress.

I have purchased Tempurpedic bed toppers for other beds in my house and they came beautifully packaged, clean and flawless. This time when I purchased a topper it came in poorly repackaged, dingy looking and the cover had a rip in it. It was clearly one that someone had sent back after sleeping on it for 90 days. It was clear that quality control had not looked it over before rewrapping it, and I have no idea whether it was sanitized in any way. I am incredibly disappointed with a company that touts itself as being the absolute best. The product itself is good, but I expected better from Tempurpedic.

I've always wanted a Temperpedic mattress and finally decided it was time. I know most people will think the price is a bit much, but after having mine for some time, i feel this is a quality mattress that will last me a lifetime. I find that i don't toss and turn like i used to with my old mattress and wake up very well rested. Overally, if you have the money, I don't think you will be dissapointed.
