This pencil is great! My daughter was pleased with the ease of use once it was paired, you can switch from lining to shading just by applying a little bit of pressure, and she loves it. The only thing is that the adapter from lighting to C does not work, we found that out after returning and exchanging the pencil twice assuming it was a defective item. After attempting to pair it to different devices we confirmed that the issue was not the pencil but the actual adapter, so we had to make an appointment at an Apple Store so they could resolve the issue, and it took longer to make the appointment and drive there than the pairing, but after that the pencil has been working great! I have it 4 starts because there is no battery indicator light so you can’t tell if is charging or fully charged, and the lighting to C adapter was not working, perhaps it was a defective lot, and it was very annoying, other than that, this is a great buy for the price.

As a senior with arthritic hands I thought the Apple Pencil would a big help when working or playing games on my tablet. It does just that. I am enjoying it so far, and have a lot to learn about how to use it. Looking forward to trying drawing with it.

Item does work! I’m just constantly scared about it dying before I realize it’s low on battery. After I purchased the item I have seen so many videos about people saying if you let it die it won’t charge again!! What’s the point!? A very expensive pencil for this problem!

Straight out of the box will not work when I plug it in it’ll connect then unconnect every couple seconds and also if I keep it in it’ll charge all the way to 100% eventually then when I pull it out and put it in again a second later it’s 3% will not keep battery

Love my Apple Pencil! Stays charged for a long time, and charges very quickly as well! Love the ease of writing the Apple Pencil gives you on the iPad! Feels even better with a paper-feel screen protector, it almost sounds like a real pencil gliding across the screen which is also very pleasing!

Okay so I ended up returning the pencil but not because it was the worst thing ever. I realized I could buy the 2nd gen for my iPad and I don’t have the money to keep both so I returned it. But I did try it out and it was honestly the best. Only issue is that it feels so slippery.

I am very happy with the performance of the Apple Pencil. The features it offers in my note apps are very helpful. But I have had to kick start the battery twice in the 6 months I’ve had it. Not hard to do but it is aggravating to have to repetitively do.

I absolutely love my Apple Pencil (1st Gen)! I use it with my 10th-generation IPad, and it works perfectly — the pressure sensitivity makes writing and drawing feel smooth and natural. It’s super responsive and great for notes, Procreate, and design apps. Definitely worth it if you enjoy being creative on your iPad!

This pencil paired easily to my IPad Pro. It can also be conveniently charged by connecting to the IPad so carrying around the charger isn’t necessary. I decided to buy the pencil after trying to sign an electronic signature with a fingertip. Works great Nice to have.
