After having A LOT of technical difficulties I found out that It wasn’t compatible with my nephews iPad it has to be one with a lightning charger. My nephew has the c type charger

Be sure you read the packaging in great detail. Had to return the smart pen due to its incompatibility with my new IPad Pro, 13 ". The return went real slick.

Great sturdy pencil. I was afraid it would be delicate. The only negative I see is that it needs to be plugged in at the top of the pencil to charge (not wireless like the second generation. Hopefully it doesn’t get loose over its lifetime!

My other pendant work to my iPad. I’m switch to this one and it works perfectly. I charge it at the bottom of my iPad and it doesn’t drain the battery.

I really love my Apple Pencil. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the cap on it is pretty loose so it very easily comes off other than that it’s been a great purchase so far.

I bough this during the black friday deals along with a pink Ipad for my 17yo daughter.. The apple pencil was so easy to set up and easy to use. She downloaded Procreate and the pencil is perfect for it.

Really likes this pencil. Had previously purchased an off brand that had great reviews and was supposed to be comparable, but the Apple Pencil worked a lot better

So far (one week in) I’ve had no issues. I was told recently that when an apple pen dies it may never turn back on, but this has died once (before I knew) and turned back on fine. Keep that in mind, though.
