I had already purchased this hose from another site, but this one offered by Sam's stated it complete full 5/8" ID and it is NOT. It will not replace a regular hose; you cannot use it to wash a car, rinse off anything with pressure, etc. I wanted a full-size hose wrapped in steel, but this is not it. Suitable for dribble watering, and I use my first one as a plant waterer. I'm 74, and I have a more robust stream than this. Has its purpose, but not as the central hose. They do not kink; it is light but a slow stream. Returned it. Had a slow one already.

Have not actually used it yet. Seems to be great quality. Ends / connectors look like they will hold up. Hose is lighter than I expected. Have a friend who has one and he love's it. So maybe it is a 5, but with out actually using it or knowing how it will last overtime. I give it a 4. But can't beat the price. It does roll up nicely, which can be difficult with a standard hose.

I love that I can depend on the bionic steel pro garden hose to not kink regardless of how I store it or unwind it. Other hoses say they do not kink, but they do. This is one that truly does not kink. I worried that it would get hot in the summer, it doesn’t. The only down side of this hose is, it does roll if you step on it, so be careful not to leave it on your walkway. Other than that, I cannot think of any down side to the hose. I will never own another hose.

03.21.2024, The hose I received today has an (ID) inner diameter of 8.6mm. The description indicates 5/8 inch which is 15.875mm so the hose I received is about 1/2 the diameter advertised. If you want a hose 5/8 inch, don't purchase this one. I will probably return it.

Sturdy lightweight but so hot to touch!! Can scratch a fence when moving

Flexibility is great, no kinks. Smaller diameter of the hose does limit flow.

Wasn’t cheap, but you get what you pay for. I am impressed with my purchase and feel like if I take care of this , it will last quite some time 🫡

I have not used it yet....-13 C here. Haven't turned outside water on. But a freind has one and swears by it. Last hose I'll ever have to buy!
