Pros: Great size, it really is leak proof, and it looks great, good quality material. Cons: the box is a little heavier than I thought, and after 4 hours in a park with the box under the stroller the grapes were not cold anymore. I’ll try putting the box inside an insulated bag and see if it’ll help.

We like the bigger compartments than the other models. Harder to put the pieces together and close the lid though. Hand washing every time takes more time than putting in the dishwasher. Otherwise it’s a great product. Could Bentgo put a lunchbox menu list/cookbook for adults and children? Their promotional photos look so appetizing!

Love the freezer pack that goes in it and the size of the compartments. Only thing I don't like is that the top does open all the way and lay flat. Kids like to eat their left overs on the way home and its hard in the car because it tips backward when they are trying to eat.

It's a nice lunch box. I like the layout more than other Bentgo kids lunch boxes, for us the serving compartments are just right for main, fruit, veggie, grain. It is a bit wobbly if you use it without the ice pack. I do like the icepack and the fact it can be remove, saved until the last minute if you want to pack a day ahead. Unfortunately, the ice pack doesn't keep lunch cold all day, I need to add an extra ice pack to the lunch box to have it chilled properly all day. If I pack it for only 2-3 hours the built in ice pack is sufficient.

My toddler uses it for his daycare lunches and it's perfect. Compact enough for him to lift, which he likes to do, as it makes him feel important. I like that the compartments are fully separated and you don't have to worry about food leaking under those movable walls that some other bento boxes have. It's also super easy to clean. Has held up nicely for us so far. Will purchase another. This is probably too small for a child who is more than 7 or 8 years old. I'll upgrade to a larger size then.

I love the Bentgo Kids Chill Lunch Box - it seems to be locked-tight so food does not move from one section to the other while closed. The chill pack works great to keep everything cool until lunch. I appreciate that the compartmentalized tray can be put in the dishwasher, but PLEASE, please make the outer shell dishwasher safe, as well! The inside top of the outer shell is hand-wash only and it gets very messy from all of the foods touching the top/lid. It is very hard/awkward to wash with the hinge and clasp there.

Compact, adorable, lunch box. The best part is that it has an ice pack incorporated. This allows you to transport it without a lunch bag, which is ideal for "on the go" situations and for teens, who don't want the added bulk of a lunch bag. If they made this in a teen or adult size it would be perfect.

I love the concept but it is heavy and difficult to close for my 5 year old. It’s durable and looks good but the bottom also sweats a little bit when it has the cold ice pack in it. Wish I hadn’t thrown box etc away because I would have returned for traditional style

What a great little lunch box. My almost 3 year old loves it! Easy for him to open by himself and carry around. I love the rubberized corners and the chill pack. This made packing for a day trip at the museum easy! I will definitely use it for when he starts talking lunches to school! I would definitely recommend.

So handy for trips to the park and restaurant visits for my little guy. We even used it to feed my 11 month old lunch on the airplane. My guy loves having choices with the different compartments and I like the detachable ice pack. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to make their lives easier with a little one on the go.
