Taste of beans are great if you can get them as stated as (young). Most are overgrown and very stringy to the point of choking you while eating. I used to buy these quite frequently but over the past 6 months this product has gotten worse. Will not be buying again, which I hate because these used to be so great.

We bought these beans this afternoon to serve with dinner today (same day). When I went to cook them I noticed a ton of cloudy liquid in the bottom. I opened the bag and they smelt terrible so I threw them out. Complete waste of money. They still had 10 days before best by date.

Many rotten beans when received even though the sell by date had 2 days left.

I was really looking forward to having this as a side dish, but the beans were slimy inside the bag and it was one day before the freshness date. also some beans still had stems attached

These green beans were slimy the day I purchased them. I was able to pick a small handful from the top to cook, but sadly had to throw the rest of the bag away.

I picked up the item with Club Pickup. The entire bag was slimy and rotting. Pick it out yourself in Club for guaranteed freshness. I won't order by Club Pickup again.

I chose to have my order delivered, so I did not pick the item, but it's not the picker's fault. This is the second try with these organic beans. The first delivery the beans had a milky substance in them, very thick and the beans were clearly old. I discarded and received a refund. The second try, pretty much the same, but did go ahead and prepare 1/2 the package. The beans are so stringy they are dangerous. A new supplier needs to be found. These beans are not edible.

French beans are supposed to be long and thin, but these were fat like any other ordinary green beans. They also came half spoiled. I don't know whether they were partially frozen from improper storage, or just old. I would never have bought them had I been able to see them in the store, but I got them via curbside pickup.

My husband and I (seniors) love these beans. I buy a bag now and then and throw them in the pressure cooker with some bacon. Wonderful flavor. We actually eat this for a few days for supper because it's a large bag. We have gotten a couple of bags that were bad. It's hard to see slime in the sealed plastic.

tried NEW WORLD FARMS organic green beans from purchase made 07/13/23. We had to throw them away. The beans smelled like they had a chemical on them. I cooked a few and tried them. Still had a strong chemical taste. Threw them away. Same thing happened when recently purchasing fresh broccoli flowerettes. They were also from New World FARMS. The smell/taste was horrible, not edible. Threw the package away. Expect good quality from Sams and have normally been pleased. Not this time.
