I'll be honest, it looked good in the bag but I waited too long to cook it and had to throw it away. Shame really because I really wanted those green beans.

2 lbs is too many for a family of 2, but I blanched them in boiling water and put them in separate bags in the freezer for several meals so that they would not go to waste!

Love these French green beans! The pack comes with a great amount but unfortunately they expire pretty fast so unless you're serving it at a party, a lot of it goes in the trash. Perhaps a lower cost and a smaller pack would be much better.

Picked this up as part of a curb-side order. Always a little hesitant to let someone else choose my fresh produce, and I was right to be concerned. When I got the bag, there was already quite a bit of slimy condensation. I immediately put the whole bad in a colander, rinsed them VERY well, spun them in my salad spinner, then put them in a veggie keeper lined with paper towels. Fortunately the extra prep helped and the lasted the four days until Easter dinner. I blanched them, then roasted them with a garlic and sage infused butter. They were a hit!

I bought the green beans but four days latter they started to get brown. I had to use them all of them at once to avoid the waste of them.

These beans were stringy, tough, and got a slimy coating on them a week before the use-by date. I had to toss them out, which was a huge waste of food and my money. I've bought them before, and never had any problems, but this batch was a waste of money for me. Very disappointed & I won't take a chance on them again.

Horrible taste, didn't matter how I used them, they had this horrible taste and never seemed to get tender! Total waste of money.

They were brown and unusable 6 days before the expiration date. I was unable to return them due to my schedule so I had to throw them out. Unfortunate. It was a pick up so I never noticed it.

The beans were more like green beans than French beans. They were not tender but tough and they were not fresh. I was very disappointed. Threw away second half of bag.

I have purchased fresh French beans from Sam's in the past but this last purchase had to be thrown out after just 2 or 3 days in the frig. They started to turn and evidently had been sold to us on their sell by date, which really was a late date as they did not keep at all. I was not able to return to the store for a credit and was sad to have to throw them out as fresh French green beans is something we've always enjoyed from Sam's. I believe this is a new brand so now I am weary of purchasing them again.
