We like these bento boxes for our daughters' lunches to school every day. They have good capacity, low leakage, and an adjustable divider which provides flexibility on meal options. 4 stars instead of 5 because a) the outer box cannot be put in the dishwasher, or else it may warp and no longer close/seal properly; b) the divider can get lost/tossed along with discarding uneaten leftovers -- as happened to us; c) the outer box is rather bulky. The latter I'm sure is for good thermal isolation, but limits choices for lunch box/backpack/cooler that this will fit into. Still, these bento boxes are our go-to after trying 4 different types over the years. Also, their sleek and modern look is much more appealing for our 9 year old, who complained of all the unicorns and cartoon llamas and obnoxious colors on her older boxes. First world problems...

I bought two boxes for my girls before the start of school. They both love their boxes and cleaning is easy with the removal component. I had an issue with my Bentgo and wrote to customer service And they promptly replied and sent me a replacement. They are a company that stands behind their product!

We bought my son the Bentgo Modern in the hopes that it would not leak in his backpack and onto his computer. We are so very pleased that it has not! We could not be happier with its sleek design and the fact that it is totally leak proof! I even ended up buying the salad Bentgo with a fork for myself. We are now two very happy customers!

I really like the size of the internal compartments. I also like the overall size of the box, which is easy to place in my daughter’s backpack. Definitely not bulky like other lunch boxes/bags that we’ve used in the past. Lastly, I reached out to customer service and found them to be incredibly responsive.

Wrote a review on my salad bowl which unfortunately broke shortly followed by this box breaking as well! Maybe it doesn’t happen to everyone but this is now 2/3 bentgo boxes broken that I’ve had for just over a month. Hand washed every time and only used about twice a week.

Got this to simplify lunch for my child entering high school so she could eliminate a lunch bag. It has worked out so well. It is compact enough to fit in the front pocket of her backpack without a lot of extra bulk and holds enough food for a good and healthy lunch!

I have had a few bentgo products over the years and have loved them for myself. However, my husband still preferred getting fast food or ordering takeout at work. After some not great lab results, I convinced him he needed to change his eating habits so I purchased two of these to make meal prep easier. I love the sections for pre-portioning food, while he loves that the divider comes out to make a section large enough for a sandwich. The containers seal so well that I have had tortilla chips in one section and marinated cucumbers in another and my chips were perfectly dry and crisp. I also love that it has a microwave and dishwasher safe food tray. It makes cleanup a breeze and so far there has been no staining of the plastic. My only complaint is that the removable divider fits a bit loosely (and that my husband accidentally threw his away!) Otherwise, this is fantastic product and I plan to buy more!

Got two of the modern bento boxes for my kids (9&10) to use for school. We have tried so many different styles of bento boxes over the years and have also done the traditional lunchbox/sandwich bag set up. This has by far been our favorite bento box we have used thus far. Removable insert makes it super simple to clean. I love that it doesn’t have 10 thousand tiny parts. It keeps food separated for the most part outside of anything with excessive liquid that may seep between the seal. Overall happy with it and most of all we love the size!

Very convenient for lunches on the go! I had two that only lasted a year before the latch wasn’t working, the lid was falling off and mildew/mold began collecting at the seal. I was very disappointed they lasted so short of a time. I did take care of them by carrying in a bag and switching between boxes day by day.

My son has been using Bentgo products for years. He started with Bentgo Kids, to Bentgo Chills, Bentgo Stainless, onto Bentgo Fresh and Bentgo Pop with Bentgo Snacks as an additional companion with those. And now we have added Bentgo Modern to the collection. Just like the other ones mentioned above it’s amazing. It’s leak proof, looks good/sleek and for some reason food looks better with all Bentgo products :) And on top of that, Bentgo has the best costumer service and best warranty out there. Very easy to deal with. You’ll get result without needing to jump through hoops. Thank you Bentgo! Looking forward for more new ‘cool’, innovative and functional products.
