We purchased the Sarasota Pergola 14x10 and also purchased the installation as well. The pergola is amazing! Looks great. High quality steel, Looks incredible in our yard. The installation team that came out were great .. Very professional and seamlessly installed the pergola in just a few hours. Highly recommended

When we started seeing pergolas set up in stores and some friends and family that had them, we wanted that look for our backyard. We wanted quality and durability and we definitely have that in choosing the Sarasota 14x10 Louvered Steel pergola from Backyard Discovery. This pergola is amazing!  We love the look, quality, durability, louvers and gutter drainage. With time and patience, the set up was easy if you follow the step by step instructions.  I would absolutely recommend this pergola. Looking forward to enjoying our new pergola this summer!

We have had this pergola for about 9 months. The product is very sturdy and nice looking. We love it as long as it is not raining. But we bought it because they boast about full coverage from rain. We have very nice/expensive outdoor furniture with nice upholstery that gets soaked EVERY SINGLE TIME it rains. We cleaned out the tracks and gutters which was not that dirty and it still soaks the furniture. This is a a lot of money, HARD WORK, and more money for installation to have to put up with this issue. We are so disappointed and frustrated. I will be calling the support center. Let’s hope and pray the my will be helpful and give us a solution to this problem.

We bought 5 - 20x10 Sarasota Steel Louvered Pergolas and put them up on our beer garden patio. The first one took us just over two days to assemble, but we became experts and erected the next four in under two days total. We had one faulty part and Backyard Discovery overnighted the part to us and we were able to complete the project the next day. They even followed up with us on how things were going. Quality is top notch and the service response was even better.

I bought this to replace my gazebo that was destroyed by the hurricane. It is very nice and the louvers are cool. One word of caution during assembly: make sure you get the long beams set the right way. The instructions aren’t clear on that and we had to remove all the louvers and flip the beams over.

Our family purchased this 14x10 after deciding the louvered feature would be perfect for the inconsistent weather Oregon can provide. Already we have seen it work wonders in diverting rain when closed and keeping my kids happy and dry while they do school work. Installation was easy enough and all items were in great condition. I've had decent luck with BYD products in the past, but not this time around. The included bolts are very low quality, and break easily. Also, 3 out of 4 posts had a visible twist. Also some of the pieces could have been attached, saving assembly time for the customer.

We have intense sun on our deck in the summer. We purchased this pergola for the deck and had I think it will be very effective in the summer. One of the factors in choosing this particular model was its strength and ability to withstand high winds which we get occasionally. I do wish there were options for side curtains to block the sun in the late afternoon. We found the installation to be a bit more complicated and hired someone to finish the frame and secure the pergola to the deck and install the louvers.

My patio desperately needed some shade and though I love pergolas, I didn’t feel that the traditional wooden pergola would work in my space. And temperature extremes plus wood leads to expensive replacements. This pergola is the perfect solution. Love the look. Structure is heavy duty. I added curtains and cafe lights. Couldn’t be happier.

We purchased a larger side version for one portion of our deck then purchased this smaller size to fit another portion of our deck. It's well made and had a sleek look to it. We hired a handyman to assemble and bolt to our deck. We like being able to open and close the slats on top. Very easy to use and provides total coverage when it rains. The drainage system works well. We sometimes get high winds where we live but have had no issues with structural integrity.
