[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Corners were bubbled up, and there were waves along the sides. Customer Servuce Rep was hostile and dismissive. It took filing a warranty claim and threatening to return all 3 purchased mattresses to get a replacement of the 1 defective mattress.

We are Tempurpedic fans. We have had a split king adjustable unit for about seventeen years. The two mattresses finally needed replacing. Our previous mattresses were firm. My husband is not real picky, but after our original purchase in about 2003, said he regretted a little not getting a softer mattress for his side. So when we ordered the two twin long LuxeAdapt mattresses, we ordered one firm for me and one soft for him. He is satisfied with his. I am not with mine. The one I am using is labeled firm, but neither of us can detect any difference between his soft and my firm mattress. I don't know if mine was mislabelled or what, but it is not firm, which I prefer and need. I don't really want to go through the process of exchanging it, but I probably am. I certainly hope Tempur-pedic still makes a firm mattress.

I had this mattress for 80 days and it was so painful. I would wake up with a sore back and hips each morning. I followed all the advice for breaking in this mattress and it made no difference. I am still doing physical therapy to try and undo the harm to my back and hips. The description says it is cooling but that is not true. I would wake up in the middle of the night because it was too hot. I also bought 2 expensive Tempur-Pedic pillows thinking this would help, but turned out to be a waste of money. They are very heavy and don't provide any cooling benefit. I found another mattress brand that is much more comfortable, provides the needed support for my back and hips and is cooling.

Overall happy with the mattress, it was a warranty replacement for an old Contour Elite breeze. My one gripe is that it is SOOO hot. It retains a tremendous amount of heat under where we are laying. Wish we had paid the difference for the LuxeBreeze. The warranty on this product is great, though I don't feel the products quite live up to their extremely high price tag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a side sleeper and was constantly flipping from side to side due to pressure point pain with my old spring mattress. I noticed an immediate difference the first night sleeping on my tempur pedic. I no longer have shoulder or hip pain while sleeping on my side. Every area feels supported by the mattress. I have had the mattress for 2 months and have no regrets with the purchase!!

I've now had my mattress 7 months and it is NOTHING like it was at the store. When I tested the mattress at the store it was like sleeping on a cloud. I fell in love. My mattress is somewhat firm and now has a dip in the middle. Super uncomfortable and I wake up stiff and sore every morning and get the worst sleep. I do not recommend this mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from a Tempur-pedic Pro-adapt, I already knew I was a customer for life. However, after comparing the models, I decided the Luxe was sounded more fit for my needs. I'm VERY happy with the upgrade, and recommend it to everyone I know.

I just woke up from an ahhhhmazing restful night, so I decided to write this review because I've never owned a mattress this comfortable before. My husband and I wake up feeling rested and just plain amazing, it's even quite hard to find words to describe this new found love for this way of sleep. We've had the bed for 45 days now and it has changed my life. I used to wake up with all sorts of pain, especially my lower back. I have had back issues since my military active days and so, I can't say enough how this will change my life and now I can finally look forward to great nights in bed. This mattress is definitely worth every cent. We also purchased the adjustable base and it's a great fit for us. I love love love this bed, can't even believe it exists. This is just sublime!

I love it, my husband is still getting used to it. He is a big guy, outweighs me by about 100 pounds. That means he sinks down low into the foam and it can be a bit of a struggle for him to turn over and get out of bed. I, on the other hand, love settling into a cozy little burrow. I have arthritis in my back and I no longer have any difficulty getting comfortable and staying comfortable all night. As to the smell that the sales person was obligated to warn us about, we barely noticed it and it wasn't at all unpleasant.

Love the mattress so far but still getting used to it! Very well made. A suggestion: since the serial number is required to register the product, tell the customer this at time of purchase or put the number where it is more accessible (not on bottom of mattress!)
