My husband and I have slept on various soft/medium Tempur-Pedic mattresses for over 30 years. We have never deviated because we feel that Tempur-Pedic is a good quality mattress that is well constructed and that provides a restful comfortable night's sleep. We love our new Tempur-LuxeAdapt firm bed, it replace our 20 yr old Celebrity Tempur Pedic bed. Was having so much pain in my hips and sides and lower back , not any more!! I don't toss and turn and I fall asleep so much faster too. Thank you Tempurpedic for a great bed

This is definitely firm, at first you might go "I made a mistake, I should have gone medium". But it softens up pretty quickly to the right point. As someone with multiple herniated discs, this is so far the best mattress I've tried. No ache in the morning when I stand up, which was usually the problem with my old mattress. It's comfy, not terribly warm (compared to what people were telling me), and it has just enough give to relieve pressure points that other firm mattresses create.

Here's an updated version with the delivery experience included: I never thought I'd be this excited about a mattress, but here we are! I started by telling ChatGPT about my sleep problems, back pain, and aches, and asked for mattress recommendations. The Tempur-Pedic LuxAdapt made my shortlist along with at least four other mattresses I wanted to try. After a lot of research, it ultimately came down to two finalists: the Saatva and the Tempur-Pedic LuxAdapt. I spent nearly four hours testing mattresses in the store. I made sure to lie on each finalist for at least 20 minutes because I sleep in every position imaginable—on my back, side, and stomach. The LuxAdapt passed every test with flying colors. It felt incredibly comfortable in every sleeping position and was the only mattress that truly felt right no matter how I was lying. Yes, it's expensive, but I've come to think of it as an investment in my health rather than just another purchase. A good night's sleep affects every part of your life, and at this stage, waking up without aches and pains is worth far more to me than a new pair of expensive shoes. Your Fourth of July sale. Not knowing your sale had ended I went to the Navy exchange in Mayport Florida to buy the LuxeAdapt Hybrid. I was told the sale had ended and price had went back up. I believe the product is the best and will wait for the next sale, thank you.

From the purchase through delivery to sleeping on this mattress, I have no issues. However, I like to give it some time before I can fully comment as I've had mattresses in the past that were good in the first few months but gradually weren't so good. With that, so far it is a very comfortable mattress which forms neatly to your body's sleeping position and as you move around during your sleep. We picked a firm mattress as when we tried the softer version it felt like we would sink into it. So far, it does regain it's shape after getting out of bed, which is an important aspect. We replaced a previous mattress (it was okay for me) as my spouse said she was having back pains with the mattress. With this TEMPUR she's had no problems at all and she sleeps well now.

Love the Tempur-pedic material combined with traditional springs in the Hybrid model. Wish Tempur-pedic's website was better. Never bothered to ask if we also needed a foundation, so we had to put up with two deliveries when they showed up the first time with just the mattress ??

I am not sure if there's an adjustment period but our backs been hurting more since using it and also, you can't sit on it despite being "firm." You will sink and have to counterbalance to even stay upright lending to more back pain. My Daughters play mat that's on the floor feels more comfortable than the bed. The smell also took 7-10 days to dissipate with 3 fans blowing at it and 2 air filters
