[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I have slept on my new pro adapt firm mattress for a week. The material molds to your body very well. However, it is very firm. From what I am reading, it takes some time to break in. If you prefer a firm mattress, this is the one for you. It's very very high quality and I have had pretty great sleep so far.

I have back/disc problems and sleep apnea. I love my new proadapt medium hybrid mattress with adjustable base! With other mattresses I never could sleep all night without waking. With my new one I can sleep through the night without waking and I feel more rested in the morning. Super comfortable, quality mattress, and it's more affordable than I thought.

I started out with an adapt medium hybrid and switched over to the pro-adapt soft during the trial period. I am so glad I did, and just sorry I didn't go with this in the first place! As a side sleeper, the first mattress was too firm for me and I had a lot of pressure points on my shoulders and hips. This one has been great from night one! I fell asleep very easily the first night and only woke up once. I didn't think much of that until I actually got out of bed that first morning. For the first time in at least ten years I had zero lower back pain! And as I walked to work that morning I realized I had more energy than I've had in a long time. I didn't even realize how poorly I'd been sleeping until I got the Pro-Adapt Soft. SO, SO happy with this purchase. Mine is still a little firmer than the one in the store, so I know it's only going to get better and better.

Having deep dream filled sleep with my new mattress. I have always gone with a 'firm' mattress, but now that I am older I wanted to try and see if a less firm mattress might feel better and alleviate some of the 'aches & pains' ... thankfully, the TempurPedic ProAdapt Medium Hybrid offers the give needed but still has some firmness that I like. Great mattress. I also purchased the TempurErgo Extend Smart Base. Going to have to try the pillows!

I don't have anything bad to say about the mattress, just that I don't get the cooling effect of the mattress with a mattress cover over it. I like to have a mattress cover to protect from the dead skin and bacteria that can get in mattresses, but I've noticed that it completely blocks, at least the cover that I got from the store, the cooling effect that the mattress is supposed to give.

After 20+ years on a Sealy Perfect Sleeper bed set, my first Tempur-Pedic has performed beyond expectation! Initially thought to be "too firm" the mattress has adjusted my posture alignment and I have longer rest periods as I also tend to awaken less during sleep periods. I am an avid marathoner and I notice aches and tender spots I might go to bed with appear to be gone when I awaken. I am so glad I finally purchased this bed set and look forward to comfortable blissful rests on it.

I sleep very hot but my wife sleep cold. So this bed is perfect not as much cooling as the colling line has but just enough to keep me cold and her not. With my knee problem this bed is a life changer adding the adjustable base and I was all set. Tempur-pedic for life.

My new tempur-pedic and ease adjustible frame give me the best nights sleep I have ever experienced in my 65 years of sleeping. Wish I would have brought them years ago. The jury remains out on my new Tempur-Pedic mattress. It replaced a hybrid from another manufacturer in its twelfth year of use that developed uncomfortable strike through to the quite firm support layers. The ProAdapt Hybrid was chosen simply because the in-store sample felt the most comfortable among the several hybrids and others on site. Despite the warning of the break-in requirement in the product literature, I found the first few days of use bordering on intolerable. With a week or two of additional use the mattress is becoming better to sleep on and I'm willing to withhold final judgement pending further break-in. I suspect my prior mattress was softer overall (and I'm older and creakier now), but I fondly recall the wonderful, enveloping support it provided during and after break-in. None of the in-store options at Mattress Firm offered this and, in the end, I may pursue adding a topper to try to recapture the feel of the prior mattress.

I am quite familiar with Tempur-Pedic-, I use to own a king size, and when I down sized to a queen, It was with mixed feelings to spend so much money on a mattress, well, after sleeping on my mattress I now realize how I would pay double just to have the same sleep I used to get, this mattress out performs my old mattress and the new tea to keep it cooler really is a God send.
