I like the feel of the mattress and its support. I have the Tempur-Pedic ProAdapt Medium Hybrid California King. Before purchasing I read comments regarding "sleeping hot" but I did not take them seriously. If you purchase this mattress I believe that you will feel the hotness as I am awaken by it numerous times during the night. Again, it a good mattress with a wonderful feel to its sleeping surface but it is the "hotness" that ruins it for me. I recommend this product but with the aforementioned provisos. Pretty unhappy now and I don't know what to do.

Historically I have purchased relatively expensive traditional mattresses with varying success at comfort. For my last mattress, I moved to a well reviewed traditional name brand, memory foam mattress and had a great experience (I thought) for about the first 3 years; ultimately over the course of the last 2 years developing soft spots and a general feeling of sinking into the mattress worse than I had with traditional mattresses. I don't know how the pro-adapt hybrid mattress will fair over time, but I can tell you it is better on one day one than my all my previous mattresses have been, being incredibly forgiving on body curves while still being supportive. I am 6'1", average around 220 lbs, am a side sleeper, and have had two L5/S1 procedures. Where historically I'd turn over due to pressure points in my shoulder, hips or back (traditional mattress) or felt like I was trying to turn over in wet sand (all memory foam), the pro-adapt med hybrid is perfect for my weight and sleeping style. I acknowledge there is generally a price premium to Tempur-Pedic, and I will have to evaluate performance over the long term, but I definitely feel that this mattress type (hybrid) is executed well, suited to my weight and sleeping style, and that I'm getting a better, much less interrupted night's sleep than I have in perhaps a decade (I turn MUCH less). Recommend the brand, but also recommend taking the time to try out and find the correct version for you.

Great mattress sleep much better at night!! Only issue is the sheets do not stay on. I thought it was the$170 mattress protector that was slipping the sheets off. But it wasn't. They continue to fall off every night. I have the extra deep pocketed sheets too....

I was impressed with this mattress on the very first night, and have continued to be impressed. I'd always been a bit skeptical when it came a mattress' ability to regulate temperature and keep a person cool throughout the night. In my head I'd say things like, "Ya, right. I'm sure it's a rip off. There's no way a mattress could do that." But, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and take a chance and my goodness, I'm so glad that I did! I'm happy to admit that I was wrong, but I think my body is even happier! Ever since I switched out my old mattress for my new Tempur-ProAdapt, my sleep has drastically improved. Night after night I'm sleeping cooler, more comfortable, and waking up more rested than ever before.

I cannot remember the last time I've slept this good. For most of us, with age come things like body aches and restless night. But not anymore! This mattress has been a life changer. I no longer wake up tired and achy, I wake up alert and ready to start the day! I was worried about the overall feels, a my husband prefers a more firm mattress and I like softer. However to my surprise it has been a great happy medium! Just soft enough to where I still feel like I'm on a cloud, yet firm enough where he doesn't feel like he's sinking in! They really do mean it when they say it conforms to every contour and curve. Don't hesitate, just buy it!

Love the adjustable feature, especially if stuffy nose, neck sore etc. We bought a split king-it's nice to have separate adjustments for position. Does not sleep hot at all-temperature very consistent. Have only had for a few months but comfy immediately and has not dented/sunk. Takes no time at all to get comfortable. My neck has felt great since getting this bed. Cons: ordering process was chaotic. It took longer than expected without much communication. I'm kind of bony and don't move much in my sleep-the bed is so comfy I don't really move so my arms are both going numb if I sleep on my side. No problems in other beds. Also, split king is hard if you have small kids-someone ends up "in the crack" if they get in bed with you. The crack isn't terrible but I often wish we had gotten the king.

I normally do not do reviews but this weekend, we visited the Frontenac store in Ladue,MO. Corinne- our sales associate was awesome. From the time we arrived and explained we were trying to learn about their beds, their bases, she took it from there. Had great questions from both of us, wanted to understand our sleep regiment and from there began demo process on various mattresses and bases. Great experience. We have never owned a mattress like this before and can't wait to experience it. Corrinne made this a great experience and it was a true pleasure working with her. We left there Saturday, talked about it and returned Sunday. Had a few more questions, tested bed again and guess what- made the purchase.Thank you for everything you did for us as I would highly recomend her to anybody in the St.Louis area that is ready to make a change in their mattress but maybe their sleep style to receive the best night ever. I hadn't been sleeping on a tempur Pedic for a couple years and would wake up in absolute agony. Some mornings, I would have to crawl out of bed and hobble around, my back and hips screaming with each movement. Now that I am back to a Tempur Pedic, life is so good! This is definitely one of the best mattresses money can buy!!! My wife and I are 100% super-super satisfied with the purchase of our Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Firm California Split King mattresses. One word to sum up how we feel each and everyday we wake up "Refreshed" Oh did I already mention the part how each and every morning my wife and I hate to get up from laying in our Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Firm mattress? (lol). Yes, these mattresses are that darn comfortable! You won't want to get up from laying on it! Highly recommend going to a sleep center and checking it out for yourslef and with Tempurpedic's 90 day sleep trial how can you go wrong?! I promise-promise you won't be upset if you check this mattress out, but I know without a doubt that if you don't you will definitely be missiing out on the best (dab-nab-it) sleep you ever experienced in your entire life!
