We were unable to open the seal of the package after tearing off the very edge of the package where it's perforated and where the zip lock mechanism is revealed. Once we opened the ziplock, we were surprised to see that the packaging is heat-sealed beyond the zip lock, and no amount of pulling it apart would separate the heat-seal. In other words, we were unable to open the bag. After much tugging, one side of the zip lock tore off, making the zip lock unusable -- and the bag still remained heat-sealed. We had to cut the bag open with scissors just to get to the cheese, having completely compromised the zip lock mechanism. Very disappointing, because the cheese pack does not fit in a gallon sized ordinary zip lock bag, and it'll have to dry out because we cannot finish eating it in one sitting.

Not for everyone in my household. They like the regular cheddar, pepperjack, and swiss snacking flavors. I love it, though! Have used for lady brunches and light lunchs w/ crackers and fruit. I get a lot of use out of it. Refrigerates wonderfully for a nice period of time! It's for a more sophisticated palette! :0)

I bought this when my brother came to stay with us. He is a fan of cheese and often orders the "cheese board" at specialty pubs and restaurants, so I wasn't sure this was going to impress him much. He loved it! Every one of us commented more than once at how great these cheeses were. Pre-cut and a few varieties all in one package equals convenience too. I will for certain be purchasing this again in the future.

My son is a fan of all cheese. He had recently asked to try some of the gourmet cheese at the grocery store. He would ask what certain varieties tasted like and wanted to take some home. At the grocery store, a small wedge of import cheese will run you $5-9, and there is the chance he might not like it. This was an excellent find at Sam's. He loved all of the cheese. We consume sharp/extra sharp cheddar on a regular basis, so he wasn't wowed with the Irish Cheddar (it's still excellent--by the way). The fontina, gouda and emmental were definitely his favorites. I made him a grilled cheese sandwich on Dave's Killer Seed Bread using gouda and fontina and he was in heaven. The tray is under $10, the portion sizes are great. 2-3 slices onto a sandwich, or cut each slice (in 1/2 for saltines--or 1/3 for club style crackers) for cracker cuts. Definitely a winner!!

This is a super time saver compared to purchasing 4 blocks of cheese and slicing them all. It's also more affordable than 4 quality blocks of cheese in my area. The only downfall is that I can't tell what sort of enzymes are used or the food/environment of the cows that produce this cheese. Overall it's a tasty, affordable option, and I'll probably keep buying it once or twice a year.

I thought I was being smart, beating the crowds by buying the cheese the week before Thanksgiving. Checked the expiration date, April of next year. I'm good. Went to pull it out of the fridge this morning and found the unopened package full of moldy cheese. The only blue cheese I was planning on serving was stuffed in green olives. I live 20 minutes away from any store that might have been open. I don't have the time to find replacement cheese. I will be returning it.

I loved being able to sample these cheeses. I loved the simplicity of the slices, tray and resealable packaging. As far as how gourmet they are, I don't know, but I loved all of them and will be keeping them on hand often for a quick snack with crackers, game nights with friends and even sandwiches. If you don't think they are gourmet enough, then shopping from a gourmet deli is the answer. This is a great product in taste and convenience for the price point.

We recently tried the Member’s Mark cheese variety and were thoroughly impressed! The assortment was fresh and delicious, making it a perfect choice for our holiday gatherings. After loving it so much, we decided to buy another tray to serve as an appetizer for Christmas Eve. It was a hit with everyone, and we received numerous compliments. This cheese variety is not only tasty but also offers great value for the quality. I highly recommend it for any festive occasion!

I have bought this over the last 3 years %26 use it for my charcuterie board for Christmas. This year when I opened the package I noticed this blue coloring on the French Emmental Cheese, I picked it up to find the back %26 sides completely covered in blue mold, it also had spread to the chesses on each side of them. I have never had a problem with this before but needless to say I was so disgusted that the whole thing went into the garbage. There went my charcuterie board which was my main appetizer for my Christmas dinner. So buyer beware.
