Good but too thick

Wish the bread was sliced thinner then it would be great. Seems to mold quickly, so I freeze it and toast slices when i need them.

Great when toasted!

Toasted with butter or peanut butter - or to make sandwiches is how we like this bread. I thought about making french toast because of the thickness to each slice. Hmmm.

Good if you have realistic expectations

Texture is a little chewy and not like regular bread. I think it would be best toasted. But anyone that has done Keto knows that having anything resembling bread is a fantastic treat. For what it is I have zero complaints.

Yucky

Keto bread does not have to be so tasteless and rubbery. Even toasted it's still like trying to eat boot leather. Sam's sells this in a twin pack, so one we tried to eat...the other one must go. I don't think even the birds or squirrels can eat this. I won't insult them. They deserve better.

Okay but not the best

I haven’t had it long enough to confirm the molding issue, but the crust is rather chewy. The taste of the bread is fine, particularly for only one carb per slice. However, I much prefer Schmitz Old Tyme 647 Italian bread which is also a little less expensive at Sam’s. Their potato bread is also excellent.

Trash

I've tried a lot of keto breads, and this is the absolute winner in being completely inedible. It has no flavor and is incredibly hard to chew. They tried too hard to make.it fluffy and forgot that people may want to eat it. Skip this. Hopefully Sam's starts carrying the better ones like Arnold or 647

New best Keto white bread

Well I've tried many brands of Keto white bread, and this is the best thus far. For 1 net carb, nothing beats it. The slices are not miniature slices like the others. It is indeed soft and it does not have that weird smell and taste the others have. It's not normal white bread, but for 1 net card, it's fantastic. My only gripe is the outer crust gets really crispy when toasted, but because the slices are normal size, I cut off the outer crust and still have a normal size slice of bread. I definitely recommend.

Take into account it's keto

I usually get 647 bread at Sam's, but this was available and I thought I'd try it. The good: it's bread, it toasts up fine & allows me to eat almost the same thing when I make sandwiches or toast for the kids. It's good for a fast keto sandwich. Because it's lower in carbs I can have carbs saved in something else. The bad: it does not taste like any bread you're used to. I've always toasted it so can't speak to taste otherwise, but it makes me think of cardboard. It's a little tougher and mostly tasteless. If you want a 'bread experience' get something else, it's not something you'd want plain. I think honestly I'd rather have a few carbs in my bread and have it taste like bread (like 647), but this is MUCH lower in carbs and if you're going to eat sandwiches and toast a lot I'd choose this. Just make sure you take a yummy topping that'll give your meal taste, because this will not.

Too Expensive for floppy "sawdust"

First and last time buying this bread. Had to throw half away. Strange smell, kind of like moldy sawdust. The size of the slices were OK but pretty thick. It is not firm bread at all, so things fall out of all sides of it when you make a sandwich with lettuce, tomato and bologna, etc. Toast was better than un-toasted, but I just couldn't get over the smell, so it sat on the counter unused as I had no more room in the freezer. Today it molded so I had to throw out nearly a whole loaf. Boy, was that ever an expensive mistaken purchase. Wish it could be reimbursed, but I can't shop in the store due to usually impossible to find handicapped parking, and the store is too far costing me 2 gallons of gas ($7.38 today). Therefore I usually only use curbside pick-up once or twice a month.

Not good

I really wanted to like this product, because I haven't had bread in a while since starting a low carb diet, but the texture is way off. I am generally not a big fan of regular white bread, so I'm probably not the key demographic for this product. I can say that I made a grilled cheese sandwich and couldn't finish it. That's saying a lot because I make a really good grilled cheese. It may be okay for croutons or stuffing, but have not tried that. If it works for you, great. I'm not a fan.
