Okay but not the best

I haven’t had it long enough to confirm the molding issue, but the crust is rather chewy. The taste of the bread is fine, particularly for only one carb per slice. However, I much prefer Schmitz Old Tyme 647 Italian bread which is also a little less expensive at Sam’s. Their potato bread is also excellent.

New best Keto white bread

Well I've tried many brands of Keto white bread, and this is the best thus far. For 1 net carb, nothing beats it. The slices are not miniature slices like the others. It is indeed soft and it does not have that weird smell and taste the others have. It's not normal white bread, but for 1 net card, it's fantastic. My only gripe is the outer crust gets really crispy when toasted, but because the slices are normal size, I cut off the outer crust and still have a normal size slice of bread. I definitely recommend.

Too Expensive for floppy "sawdust"

First and last time buying this bread. Had to throw half away. Strange smell, kind of like moldy sawdust. The size of the slices were OK but pretty thick. It is not firm bread at all, so things fall out of all sides of it when you make a sandwich with lettuce, tomato and bologna, etc. Toast was better than un-toasted, but I just couldn't get over the smell, so it sat on the counter unused as I had no more room in the freezer. Today it molded so I had to throw out nearly a whole loaf. Boy, was that ever an expensive mistaken purchase. Wish it could be reimbursed, but I can't shop in the store due to usually impossible to find handicapped parking, and the store is too far costing me 2 gallons of gas ($7.38 today). Therefore I usually only use curbside pick-up once or twice a month.

Take into account it's keto

I usually get 647 bread at Sam's, but this was available and I thought I'd try it. The good: it's bread, it toasts up fine & allows me to eat almost the same thing when I make sandwiches or toast for the kids. It's good for a fast keto sandwich. Because it's lower in carbs I can have carbs saved in something else. The bad: it does not taste like any bread you're used to. I've always toasted it so can't speak to taste otherwise, but it makes me think of cardboard. It's a little tougher and mostly tasteless. If you want a 'bread experience' get something else, it's not something you'd want plain. I think honestly I'd rather have a few carbs in my bread and have it taste like bread (like 647), but this is MUCH lower in carbs and if you're going to eat sandwiches and toast a lot I'd choose this. Just make sure you take a yummy topping that'll give your meal taste, because this will not.

Good bread good taste

I liked the taste however I've been doing keto for years and is hard to find cheap good bread. Any keto bread I buy I always store it in the fridge I wanna say that any brand will start going bad if left on counter. I loved the size and thickness of this bread.

great bread!

This is by far the best keto bread that I have tried! It taste as close to bread as you are going to get with macros that mimic eating egg whites. This is delicious and doesn’t taste like egg at all (some keto breads do) . It is also thick like texas toast.

This is the one!

Best low-carb bread around, period. I've tried many and this is the best one by far! It has a little bit of chew, but that is because it is packed with fiber to offset the minimal amount of carbs it contains. If you care about your health and you like bread, don't hesitate on this one. Very low amount of carbs and incredibly low calories. Good luck!

Tastes just like regular white bread!

Second purchase. This bread is amazing! Don't let the negative reviews dissuade you. I have tried several other keto/low carb breads - this one tastes so much like 'regular' white bread, you'll think you purchased the wrong one. Not thrilled with the soy oil in it, but there's not much (and no mention of whether the soy is GMO). Ingredients in this brand compared to others are much better. Will continue buying.

Almost perfect!

This bread has what we’re all looking for, low carb and good taste. I was very excited when I first saw this. My only fault with it is that it doesn’t bite easy. It’s not a bite but you basically just have to tear it with your teeth. Other than that, this bread has no it all. I do wish Natures Own would work on this one issue. I do wish the price was lower also.

Toast it first before reviewing this bread

Plain, this "bread" smells funky and tastes like cardboard. Toasted, its not bad at all. With soup or a sandwich, its pretty good. Considering the ingredients, low carb and lower net carb, its a viable substitute for bread. I will order this again once its back in stock.
