If you ever installed a garage disposal, you know the hardest part is cramming yourself in the cabinet and trying to support the disposal with one hand while attaching it to the flange under the sink. This unit is smaller and weighs less than your typical garage disposals. Which means it takes up less space in the cabinet as well. It’s powerful, when you kick it in and that motor jumps you feel it. It’s only been in for a week, so I can’t comment on longevity, but so far no issues. One thing I did notice, there’s no Alan screw at the bottom to spin the motor in the event it gets stuck like other disposals, so it’ll be interesting to see if that’s ever an issue.

This slim line disposer performs as well as a larger 3/4 hp model while allowing more under sink storage room. A great product at a fraction of the cost. I like the 10 year warranty also!

Very very quiet

We replaced a garbage disposal that lasted about 6 years and started leaking. This unit is sleek, quiet and powerful. Had it professionally installed so I'm not sure about the ease of installation, but I read it wasn't difficult. The price, along with the warranty, makes it a great value!

This is a solid 3/4 HP garbage disposal for a great price. It’s slim, which helps save space under the sink, but still provides plenty of power. The instructions are clear, and it fits standard plumbing without any issues. Installation was straightforward and took less than an hour. So far, it’s been working well and does what it’s supposed to do.

I must say that this one is probably the best garbage disposal I've ever had the privilege of installing it was straightforward super easy and I love how quiet it is.

Good purchase! The size is perfect bc we are on septic and can’t send everything down the disposal. It only took me a couple of hours to install (mainly due to changing drain pipes). My only issue and it is a small one, is the sounds it makes while grinding. It is a little loud. Other than that I installed it myself and it is worth every penny:)

I like it except for one thing. There is a loud click if you turn it on and there is a small amount of contents. I actually called support because I thought there was something metal loose in the unit. They said it was normal and to load it before turning it on.

States it has Easy Mount Bracket. NOT VERY CLEAR. In the middle of the job, plumber stated it would cost $150 more to modify the Easy Mount Bracket to attach to my sink. I assume the plumber is honest. Not very clear in the description about this issue or what to look for. The added fee was more than the cost of the disposal.

I naively assumed that a product bearing American Standard's name would be superior, as are their other plumbing products. However, this disposer, a Joneca product, is a major disappointment. It doesn't grind cleanly and the noise and vibration are unbelievable. I double-checked my D.I.Y. installation to ensure that it's not operator error. In the future, I will gladly pay the difference and go with the tried and true InSinkErator.
