When you buy a robot vacuum, I think it's safe to say you're buying it for convenience. You map out your cleaning zones. You schedule your cleaning. At the end of each cleaning cycle the robot even dumps the dirt into a reservoir which hold a fair amount of dirt, dog hair, etc. You come home and your floors are clean. Perfect. However, with Dustin, all of that goes out the window if you want it to mop as well. I don't mind pulling off the cleaning cloth and replacing it with a clean one daily. Heck, I don't even mind refilling the tank with cleaning solution. However, this robot does not self regulate the fluid, so it becomes a constant drip, drip, drip until the entire tank empties itself. So. . . if you run a cleaning cycle and you have cleaning solution left in the tank, you must be there when it starts in order to fill the tank, the when it finishes in order to dump the remaining solution. Yes, you heard me correctly. The instructions even tell you to dump the tank after every use. What a waste. I didn't understand why initially, but apparently the engineers did not think to design a self releasing mechanism that shuts off the open valves the solution passes through when the unit finishes cleaning. So, since I failed to be there just as it was finishing its cleaning routine, the left over cleaning solution was all over the floor, all around the electrical cords and soaked into some of the wooden legs of the entertainment center it was stationed near. There is no excuse for such a lousy design on a unit this expensive. What I'm guessing is they threw out some price point close to $1000 to impress how good the unit must be, then sell it on Sam's Club for $200, which is probably closer to its actual value. Also, there is no remote control to direct the unit if you have a specific area you want to spend a little more time on. Call me spoiled, but I've had considerably less expensive units which included a remote control hand piece that allows you to send the robot wherever you want. You can use the mapping feature on the Dustin app, but it's not as accurate. At the very least, they could have made that function available in the app itself. I bought 4 of these units. 2 for myself and 2 as gifts. 2 are going back. I don't want to be responsible for water damage. I'll use the two as cheap cleaners with an occasional mop if I'm at home. Sadly, it's a big fail in my book. It's the daily mopping that left me especially excited about buying this vacuum. What a disappointment. Steer clear. There are better units at a comparable price point which don't mop but offer more suction and programing perks. So far, I haven't heard of anyone in the industry that has perfected the mopping part in an integrated robot vacuum. Thought this could have been it.

I have had my bObsweep for a few months now and I absolutely love it! I like that I can map my whole house and then choose which rooms to clean on certain days or clean everywhere. Self emptying isa a game changer from my old vacuum. I have back problems and this takes care of one of those backbreaking chores!

I love my Dustin auto vacuum. He handles my everyday jobs and my weekend heavier jobs just fine. The auto emptying feature is something I couldn't live without. I have named him Master-Blaster after the movie Beyond Thunderdome. The spot room clean is a very handy feature for those quick spot cleans. The single room clean feature is great when you don't need to do the entire house. Dustin is so much better than my older style bump and clean vacuum downstairs. He doesn't leave any marks on the walls like the older style. The only wish would be a smartphone remote to steer him directly to a spot. Hopefully that will be in the works soon. Keep up the good work and I will probably update my downstairs vacuum with a bObsweep Dustin in the future.

I absolutely love Dustin! We had a Roomba before this and it did ok, but would miss huge swaths of carpet! Not with Dustin! Dustin doesn’t miss a thing, even getting under the lips of the cabinets! I love the fact that I can make rooms in the app and then tell Dustin to clean a specific room instead of just randomly sweeping the entire house. The ability to make “no go” zones is awesome as well. I set it so it doesn’t bump my dogs food and it does a great job of avoiding it! I also like the mop function. It’s not going to win any awards, but it does get most of the water spots from our dogs water dish and any dribbles from the kitchen sink. We put ours on a schedule so we don’t even have to worry about running it! For the $$, this has to be one of the best investments for an automatic vacuum. The ONLY issue that I have is that I don’t get notified if it completes a job or even if it gets stuck. I have to go into the app to see the notifications.

We were very happy to welcome Dustin into our home. He’s been a great little addition to the family and was very easy to house train. We really enjoyed the little announcement card that came with him. Initial startup and setup was super easy. I HATE reading pages of instructions and found the APP very intuitive. The LiDAR mapping is superior. Other great user selections are your ability to adjust the suction power on the vacuum and the mopping level. He’s a good boy!

To whom it may concern, I was given Dustin as a present from my husband for Valentines Day. Best Gift Ever! We have 3 dogs and live in the country, so daily floor maintenance is not a light task. Dustin has taken a huge brunt of the work in not even a month that I find myself with more time to enjoy my family. We have tried two other brands of robot vacuums in the past, and Dustin outperforms them hands down!

We bought the Dustin vacuum a couple of months ago and absolutely love it. We’ve had two Roombas and love the convenience of them, but the Dustin has blown them away. Its mapping system is super accurate and the way it vacuums back and forth gives a thorough coverage that the Roomba doesn’t. The ability to schedule it by room and to set fences to avoid rugs or other areas is fantastic. Some prior reviews mention you can only order bags and parts from their website, but in looking, they are priced very reasonably.

Dustin, affectionately called Bob by my family, has been a game changer. With two toddlers, a large dog, and a very active overall family the vacuuming became a constant chore for me. Along came Bob, who, on day one, demonstrated his value. He mapped the whole house, including temporarily obstacles from my kids, and went to work! He runs extremely quietly even on full power, and I haven’t had to vacuum once since my purchase three weeks ago. He even manages to get the pesky corners! Snacks on the floor? Call Bob. Dog rolled on the carpet? Call Bob! Leaves tracked in from the kids coming and going? Don’t worry about that, because Bob will get it tonight! Now, every night, Bob wakes up as we go to bed and I come downstairs in the morning to perfectly clean floors and straight vacuum lines on my carpet-every single day! Don’t get me started on his mopping night each week!

I previously owned a Samsung vacuum before purchasing Dustin. I'm pleased with my decision as it has superior suction and rarely misses a spot. While I'm unsure about its performance on carpets, it excels on hard floors. I have yet to try its mop feature, but I'm confident it will meet my expectations.

I’m beyond impressed with this robotic vacuum. After two disappointing experiences with other brands, I was hesitant to try another, but I’m so glad I did. The software is incredibly user-friendly and customizable, allowing me to connect or disconnect rooms, set up no-go zones, map individual rooms, and use the quick clean/spot clean feature. On top of that, the customer service is outstanding. Dustin had a minor issue, which was quickly resolved. They gave me the option for a replacement part or a complete replacement. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.
