Wish I would not have wasted the time.
Tried for a week. It has not remembered the map for a single attempt yet. I thought if this product was normally $400 higher than the sale price that it must be good. I was wrong. We will continue using Roborock which we have been very very pleased with. I purchased two for different areas and am returning both of them. The app is the same as the quality of the vacuum. We will purchase other brand that we are satisfied with to replace them for close to the same price.
New and improved
Dustin is great. I love the self emptying feature. Our last vac did not have this. We just pick up the dining room chairs then use our phone and by the time we get back home the vac is parked, charging and emptied. This is great for our home as it is all tile and hardwood floors.

Dose good job
Love it
Great for a daily sweep
This was a bit of an impulse buy when it was $400 off. I figured at $199 we could try it out and if it was terrible we could return it. Our dog passed in December so we no longer have a pet but we did still have dog hair hidden in places; it was hilarious when the robot went under a chest that was next to where Charlie's nighttime dog bed used to be - it came out pushing a big dog hair dust bunny in front of it. For reference, we have hardwood, oak, floor throughout, laminate in the laundry, and a couple rugs. Before we let this thing map itself, I grabbed the broom and went under most of the furniture to get the big stuff out but I left most of the floor untouched so we could see how well this thing vacuumed. I can't overstate how much I love this thing. While it isn't as powerful as an upright vacuum it has made keeping the floor dust/dirt free so much easier. It fits under most of our furniture, it doesn't fit under the couches but we had a good laugh watching it map when it found its way under a dresser, through the side, that we didn't even think about it going under. I have it scheduled to run every night for the main areas of the house (on low vacuum). Twice a week it gets the bedrooms, on high because of a couple rugs. The self-emptying is very nice; I have it vacuum at 1 am and we have never woken up to the emptying suction noise (one floor house, our bedroom shares a wall with the living room). We have used it as described for 4 weeks and the bag in the charging station isn't full yet. I have had to cut hair and leftover long rug threads out of the main roller and the side brush once a week (I did have to clean the main brush after it did the rug in our bedroom for the first time because of my long hair) and once from the front wheel. It does a pretty good job with obstacles and thresholds. Our coffee table, kitchen island, and the kitchen stool gets moved around a lot and it doesn't seem to have issues with that. I do make sure every night that our coffee table is far enough away from the couch for it to fit easily but that's it. It does not like shaggy rugs at all; the rug in our bedroom has some fringe and it's gotten stuck on it once but that's it. It goes over rugs and thresholds pretty well; I actually had to add a no sweep area for our tv stand because it climbed up the 3/4" bottom and tried to get to the wall. I just finished trying the mop feature. Personally, I can't see me using it very often but it worked pretty well. There is a variable water rate and I even filled the water jug up and then had it sweep the room before I let it mop. I did spray Pledge on floor and onto the pad. I wish it was a little easier to edit the map. You can't add a room later, for example we had it map the house and then went to add our bedroom to the floor layout and it had to remap the entire house. Also, editing the no sweep and no mop zones is a little clumsy. I can't get the box small enough for a welcome mat without having most of the box out of the room. Rugs don't show up on the map so it's a bit of a guess but since I don't plan on mopping with it much, that's not such a big deal. The next time this goes on sale, my husband and I are buying these for our parents. I definitely recommend this robot - at any price below $275ish... But, as my husband says, I'm a bit frugal so he may go higher! If this robot continues to work this well for a of couple years then I'd raise my no-go price point.
Great product!
Great robot vacuum! The mapping capabilities are the best, I have owned several robot vacuums in the past and none have ever come close to comparing to this Dustin Bobsweep robot. Self-emptying is a huge bonus. I have a Golden Retriever which sheds and sheds, then sheds more, this vacuum can handle her hair, like I said BEST robot vacuum ever! You can bet I will purchase another one of these vacuums when it wears out.
decent vacuum, worthless brush
vacuum seems ok but forget the brush. came with 2 (on the device + a spare). lost both in no time. they shipped another. brush will NOT stay on...terrible design...just snaps on, i.e. then just snaps off somewhere in the house. tech support has been very responsive but nothing they've suggested works. glad i only paid $199 on sale. no way it's worth $600. REVISED 9/16/24: Ruth at tech support has been superior. She ultimately replaced my unit. brushes now clearly snap on tightly (still don't believe that's the best design). vacuum has worked perfectly for a week. I won't use the mop feature. Ruth, thx for your good assist & prompt replacement
Great product!
I love this BObsweep!! All I did was plug Dustin in, let him charge and when he went to vacuum the very first time, he mapped out my house. Now all I have to do is press a button and he is vacuuming my whole house, carpet, wood floors. This product is absolutely amazing!! I love it and how it works!!
Dustin saves me a lot of work.
We have 2 white labs that sched. There is white fur all over the house every day. We can’t keep up with vacuuming. That is until now. Dustin runs every day at 9 AM. Now when the sun shines on the floors there is barely any fur. That is both on hard floors as well as carpeted areas. Sometimes there is so much fur, the suction is not strong enough to clear Dustin, so it needs to be cleared manually. But it is still worth it.
Welcome to our family Dustin!
Having Dustin warms my heart. He allows me to accomplish other things while Dustin works diligently to keep the floors vacuumed. I use our central vac for the deep vacuums in between Dustin’s jobs. What a way to efficiently manage time and multitask. I tell Alexa to start him and away he goes to complete his mission. I am obsessed with keeping my home in order and Dustin saves me time to do other things. We have 2 hounds and it really helps me keep the hair under control. He works methodically, completes his job, returns to his docking station then self empties. I find that compressed air is helpful to keep his filters and “body” dust free. We purchased another one for upstairs after discovering how convenient he is. The app is easy to navigate and helps me monitor his performance so I know if there is an issue like he’s stuck, sensors are dusty, etc. The bags are super easy to change. My only regret is that I didn’t find him sooner!
Gets the job done!
I've been leery about spending money on a robot vacuum, but with two cats and a German Shepard in our household, I'm tired of spending every day sweeping and vacuuming and never keeping up with the hair. So when this product went on sale for $200, I bought one. The first couple days, the vacuum was full of hair. By the third or forth day, it was keeping up with the hair and my floors are clean! I've been vacuuming once a day and mopping once a day. It's takes little effort on my part. Switching from mop to vacuum is super easy. So glad I bought this!
