I'm 6'2", 270. larger than your average human man. I have chronic lower back issues. For many years, I urged my partner to get a Tempur-pedic and he finally agreed after seeing many videos about the new cooling cover. We got it about 30 days ago and my first thought was that it was too firm. Now I feel it's just right. PERFECT for both of us, actually. I hope it lasts, that is my only concern, as it's pricey.

I expected that it would probably take a few weeks to settle in to a new mattress but was very surprised that it was so comfortable from day one. I have back pain and being able to adjust the mattress position with the Ergo base has helped my back pain tremendously. I am getting a much more restful night of sleep.

After speaking with a Sleep expert they recommended this medium Hybrid option due to my size. I am 6ft 9in and 300 lbs. I have never spent so much on a mattress before but figured it would be worth it if it meant I could finally get a good night's sleep. Sadly I was disappointed. I gave it a month and was desperate to get rid of it. It was way to hard and I just couldn't find a comfortable position. I would wake up with terrible hip joint pain in the middle of the night. I am too young to have hip pain. I have found more comfortable mattresses for much less.

At first it seemed fine, but within a couple of months, I began waking up with a back ache. (I never once had a back ache in 15 years on my first TEMPUR-PEDIC.) My husband and I purchased a Tempurpedic Mattress and box springs 9+ years ago. Recently we started having problems with the mattress sagging. I called the company and they couldn't have been better! Their service was extraordinary! They far exceeded my expectations! Everything they said and did was perfect! I am so excited to have found truly great service in today's world! Best night's sleep I have had in years. I had my first back surgery in 2013 and second in 2016. I have tried different, expensive mattresses and could not sleep without hurting. I slept in a recliner for a year. The firm mattress that I got wouldn't be for everyone but with my back I needed it. Everything else gave too much and caused my pain all over. The person that I bought it from was amazed that I adjusted to it so quickly. I would not sell my mattress to anyone. It's all mine!

I've been using this for several months now and as a result the back pain and problems I have experienced have been Reduced to the point where I'm not in pain most of the time unlike before now. So I can undoubtably say the Tempur-pedic pro adapt firm mattress has improved the quality of my life.

I like the feel of the mattress and its support. I have the Tempur-Pedic ProAdapt Medium Hybrid California King. Before purchasing I read comments regarding "sleeping hot" but I did not take them seriously. If you purchase this mattress I believe that you will feel the hotness as I am awaken by it numerous times during the night. Again, it a good mattress with a wonderful feel to its sleeping surface but it is the "hotness" that ruins it for me. I recommend this product but with the aforementioned provisos. Pretty unhappy now and I don't know what to do.
