We love our Tempurpedic-Pro Adapt Firm mattress. The first night we laid down in it and tried it we thought....oh no, we shouldn't have gotten the firm version, it's too hard!. But within a few seconds, the mattress perfectly envelopes your back and hips for a restful and supported night's sleep. This performance by the mattress has continued every night since without disappointment. I love how I can't feel my husband get in or out of bed or toss and turn....we both bought the Tempurpedic Cool Breeze PIllows that were offered as a BOGO deal with the paperwork that was delivered with the mattress. Finally, the mattress fit perfectly on our existing frame and we always have the option to purchase the adjustable base in the future. Thank you Tempurpedic!

Love the pro adapt hybrid. We replaced our 10 year old tempur pedic cloud with the twin Xl's and adjustable frames. Love the mattresses and the frames. We both selected the pro adapt medium hybrid but we could've had different mattresses in our king frame. We looked at the less expensive competitors but this is a long term purchase and used every day. No regrets; very happy.

Wife and I were mattress shopping and overwhelmed by the caspers, purple, avocado, zinus (yes these are mattress companies!) we were lucky enough to have a local mattress store that we could try the mattresses in person! We immediately fell in love. I have bad back and shoulder pain and this mattress has really helped a ton. I no longer find myself tossing and turning in the middle of the night. My wife had also noticed the same and really loves the mattress. We both look forward to going to bed now! Too hard to explain in detail but trust me it's worth it!

Whether you sleep on your side or back this mattress provides the necessary support to relieve pressure points allowing your body to fully relax and provide a night of restful healing sleep!! My wife used to wake up with sore hips and shoulders and now she wakes rested without pain!! I have had back issues for over 25 years and now I finally get a good night sleep and awake with the pressure relieved on my lower back and neck. We love that we can move without disturbing one another during the night!! The adjustable base is an added bonus!! We highly recommend this mattress and honestly believe you will not regret your purchase!! We also added the Adapt Pro plus Cooling pillows and that is the cherry on top making the sleep experience that much more enjoyable!!

I am a previous owner of a Tempurpedic mattress for 25 years. It was time to upgrade to a new one, so I purchased a Tempur-ProAdapt Medium mattress together with their ProSmart bed base 10 months ago from the Tempurpedic website. The mattress is somewhat comparable to my 25-year-old Tempurpedic mattress but took some time to get use to how much lighter the mattress is and the dimensions of it. Which brings me to this review. I thought a buyer should know that the measurements of the mattresses sold are not 60 x 80. My mattress is 58 X 78 (2 whole inches less) than a typical standard queen size mattress. Their website does have a caveat stating the sizes are approximate, but the two-inch difference in size does cause issues with my fitted bottom sheets bunching nightly because they do not fit tightly on the mattress. I then bought sheets from the Tempurpedic website because they supposedly were designed for their beds and have straps on them to keep them in place but unfortunately, they also bunch up. I mistakenly bought three sets from Tempuredic thinking they would work better for their mattresses, but they do not. In fact, after opening up and using just one set, the other two are sitting in my linen closet unopened. I absolutely love their smart base and highly recommend it. Overall, the Pro-Adapt mattress took some getting used to it since it is built differently from the one I bought 25 years ago, but I still wouldn't trade it for a traditional mattress. The bunching of the bottom sheet during the night is a real nuisance though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am sleeping on cloud 9 now. We went from a regular pillowtop that after 5 years have up. This mattress seems a bit hard at 1st however did get softer in the next few months. We are both heavy people and we have jumped on the bed a few times, never has an issue. I ordered this online, took less than 2 weeks for delivery. Delivery was so easy and professional. Worth the $$ especially if you add uo all the years of different mattress purchases in your lifetime. We enjoying it!

Went shopping for a new mattress for me and my wife both have back issues. Sleep outfitters was our last stop. Dawn Dotson the manager at sleep outfitters was excellent very knowledgeable and helped us choose the right mattress and adjustable frame for us. Very pleased with the experience. From the moment we walked in the door untill the moment we left.

We ordered our split king pro-adapt medium hybrid mattress and adjustable base from a local distributor of tempurpedic products. The delayed delivery was over 4 weeks. We were told to expect the delivery the following week, however the wait time was over 4 weeks. We were never informed of the delay. and we did not get any communication from anyone about the delay. This delay and lack of communication was very disappointing . The mattress was set by our delivery person and that process was fine. He showed us how to use the remotes and explained the adjustable base to us. The biggest problem was the smell from the bed. After approximately 3 days my husband stated waking up with a head ache and dizziness. The longer he was out of bed the better his headache became. I did not have this problem, however the smell is very strong and irritating. We have been airing the bed daily and trying to tolerate the smell. We have been sleeping on the bed about 2 weeks. The mattress definitely feels much different than a traditional mattress. When I get into bed, I feel like I am sinking into the mattress and it seems to be hard to roll over during the night. My husband does not complain about this issue. Overall, the mattress is ok. For the price that we paid, I was expecting to fall in love with the bed, but I did not. My husband seems satisfied and states he is sleeping better. So for us, I don't think we would purchases this product again. We are still within the 90 day return window and have not decided if we will return. We also considered a sleep number bed.

I have a really bad back and have spent lots of money trying to find products that will help me sleep comfortably. I purchased the mattress about a month ago and I sleep through the night and wake up pain free. This mattress has been a life saver for me. Definitely worth the price!

I was hesitant buying this as a big investment and afraid it wasn't going to live up to the expectations. Background: I have substantial lower back and neck problems/chronic pain and I am a bad sleeper waking up several times a night. Do I still wake up a lot? Yes. But I do feel my sleep I do get is better, I toss and turn less and my body hurts less waking up in the morning. Not the total change I was hoping for but defenitely a huge improvements and happy with our purchase!
