I did not know a dryer could do that .This dyer is an awesome upgrade at a reasonable price.You can use the SmartThings app to control the dryer . I’m always waiting around for laundry to finish up! With the app I can setting the dryer to my time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just upgraded my dryer to this Samsung and could not be happier. I was worried it would be difficult to set up the unit, but it was a breeze! I also purchased a matching washing machine and found that despite the smaller footprint, both units actually hold way more laundry than my old larger unit did; and they clean and dry the clothes faster. That should lead to fewer loads and more energy bill savings. The unit runs very quiet and isn't a distraction while trying to do other things (like watch TV) in the house. There are a ton of intuitive settings that help customize the size and type of load to the required time to get the job done, which makes my life easier. I really didn't even have to reference the manual. The SmartThings App is also really cool. I can see exactly how much time is left on each load and can even stop/start the machine while I'm remote. I've found the updates handy and can feel safe leaving the house, while still sorta keeping an eye on the progress. The light is helpful when I go into the laundry room for a quick peek to see how far along things are, which is also aided by the clear control panel LEDs. My only regret is not purchasing this sooner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are looking forward to 21 dryer cycles. So many options and choices that we've only tested a handful in the week we have had it. Some impressive items on the dryer - times, sensor, and a light! I did not realize how much I missed a light within an appliance. The dryer can be set to a time, set via a sensor, or set according to the Application on the phone. So far, the dryer has been great. Our first try at the wrinkle prevent option made our sheets and clothes quite puffy. We needed two baskets to carry the clothes instead of one. I look forward to trying sanitize, bedding, and air fluff. Software: SmartThings and Smart Care SmartThings is a fantastic app. Not only does it provide real time information for your dryer cycle, it helps understands all the available configuration options. The User Interface (UI) is very easy to use and follow. The barcode on the physical washer/dryer made it super easy for the software installation. Need help troubleshooting a problem or code? Smart Care is there. It is a very helpful and intuitive user interface. If you still are stuck, support numbers are available in the app. Overall, we are impressed with our initial week of using the Samsung Dryer and look forward to utilizing the full suite of options.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive my Samsung Dryer! Samsung is my preferred brand! We recently moved and the washer and dryer that came with our new home was not Samsung... So, of course, I had to replace them! My washer is slightly bigger than my previous Samsung Washer we had before moving. As a mom and dog mom, I find myself doing laundry at least once a day. I am always washing towels and blankets and clothes in between! Connecting the washer and dryer to the SmartThings App was incredibly quick and easy! My favorite features of the Samsung dryer, I am excited about the Steam Sanitize+ option. This option is said to kills 99.9% of germs and bacteria, 95% of pollen, and all dust mites. There are also a variety of drying options!

An app to notify my "tenant" that their clothes are dry so they aren't sitting in there getting wrinkled or holding up the process. Holds a ton of clothes and dries pretty evenly. Still learning all of the settings. Happy!

I have the options of using traditional "timed" setting, or choosing a dry setting based on the type of load I need to try. I also love the refresh and steam options that make your clothes fresh. Being able to controll my dryer from my phone is a bonus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung 7.4 cu ft Smart Electric Dryer with Steam Sanitize+ is a descent dryer. The size makes a huge differences with large items like duvets, corvers, etc... The dryer is fairly quiet and does the job for a dryer. However, it is not perfect unfortunately. Even if you have sensor dry, sometimes the items in the dryer are still damp and need to go for a second round to make sure the clothes are dry. Another thing, which would be beneficial is to have the dryer settings to be flexible. It would be nicer to have the full capability to change settings even if you select a pre-set setting. For example, the normal settings doesn't allow you to select the highest temperature... Just one below. Why not? So, you need to select another setting for it. Besides that, it's been 10 months now since we had our dryer and doesn't show any issues. So, I do hope it stays that way... ;)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome dryer for anyone who enjoys smart home devices and Samsung products.  As a dryer, it preforms perfect like you would expect from a Samsung appliance.  I have dried numerous loads of laundry by now and have had no issues getting clothes of all types clean and dry.  There are many different presets for different types of clothes or other laundry items.  The best part however, is the addition of the smart features.  It was extremely simple to connect to the Samsung Smart Things app. Once connected it can be easily controlled from the app.  You can set the exact settings you want and send them to the dryer.  The best part is being able to see how much time is remaining and getting notifications when complete.  The only downside is that you have to remember to turn the dryer on and enable smart control each time you use it.  As long as you remember to do this when putting the clothes in however, it isn't much of a problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My feature of this machine is the steam sanitize. I have 3 cats inside and while I keep a clean house, my roommate has some allergies. It is so helpful to be able to sanitize the linens and towels. The light inside the drum was such a surprise! I haven't seen that in a machine in such a long time. It helps you to see all of the items in the dryer so you don't end up with just one lone sock. I love the fact that it senses how dry the clothes are and adjusts the time accordingly. Drying large items like bedspreads and comforters are a breeze with this machine. No more running out to an external laundry to dry your large items. I haven't quite mastered the Smart Things app but it will be fun learning to control the machine from it. I am very happy with this dryer. It has made my life so much easier.
